David H. Winton Foundation

David H. Winton Foundation David was a dear son, brother, fiancé, classmate, colleague and friend who was lost tragically on September 11, 2001 and continues to be greatly missed.

Those of us who were fortunate to have spent time with David are grateful for our fond memories. David H. Winton Memorial Award and Scholarship

In honor of David H. Winton, a graduate of Wethersfield High School who was lost in the September 11, 2001 tragedy at the World Trade Center, friends and family will grant the David H. Winton Memorial Award and Scholarship annually to a graduating senior

of Wethersfield High School, representing David’s characteristics, interests, and values. David graduated in 1990 as a scholar-athlete from Wethersfield High School. He achieved honors in the classroom and was a well-respected Captain of both the Eagles’ soccer and baseball teams. Those who were fortunate enough to know him, realized David was a tremendous asset to the high school, both on and off the field. Preparing well for his college experience at Fordham University, where he graduated from the College of Business, David demonstrated an aptitude and interest in business administration and finance during his high school years. His teachers appreciated his effort and insight in the classroom and were often pleased to find David assisting others to ensure his fellow students’ success. Eligibility: Scholarship applicants must be graduating, college-bound seniors at Wethersfield High School who have participated for three or more years, including their senior year, on the soccer team. Criteria: Final selection will be made primarily on the basis of excellence in the classroom, leadership on the soccer field, concern for fellow-students’ development, establishment of strong relationships with teachers and administrators, involvement in community, and evidence of strong integrity. Additional factors considered by the committee will include participation in a second sport, work experience, commitment to higher education at a four-year college or university, and other achievements of distinction. Applications may be obtained in the WHS School Counseling Office. For donations to support this scholarship, please make checks payable to: David H. Winton Foundation

Support Transparency and Accountability for 9/11 Victims, Family Members and Survivors

I wanted to share this important letter from families of those killed on September 11 and others calling for the release of long-withheld records related to the attacks.

For more than two decades, families have sought full transparency about what happened, who provided support, and why key evidence remains concealed. This letter urges the FBI to fulfill its obligations and release the remaining records.

Please take a moment to read and consider adding your name in support.

For nearly twenty-five years, victims’ families and survivors have asked:“Who supported the hijackers—and why is the truth still hidden?”Evidence shows Saudi government officials and agents were part of the support network in the United States.
