As we approach AA Founders Day (6/10):
Yesterday at Stepping Stones annual picnic(75 yrs of people! Through Alanon!)!
Pictured here w/Linda (great AinR Rockland Cty outreach-networker!). We had the pleasure of speaking with Tom Adams, author of this new book about Bill and Lois Wilson!
Take time to read some history of AA, attend a 12 step meeting, or join in an activity in recognition of Founders Day this week.
If it wasnโ€™t for this amazing couple, their dedication to carrying the message, the power and evidence that sharing our stories to recover our world ๏ฟผworks -there is so much hope!

Today we recognize Memorial Day. Alumni in Recovery is thankful to those who have given their lives to protect our freedom. Recognizing those we are without does not have to mean misusing substances. For those who are grieving, we hope that you are able to take time to heal, rely on a solid support system, and practice healthy coping mechanisms.
