One of my fondest memories of my Mom will always be her daily prayer of the rosary. She was always a devout lover of our Blessed Mother. I know with her passing this past Sunday at age 93 she is joined in heaven with my father and her family.

This Memorial Day weekend, we invite the community to join us for a heartfelt Rosary service at Saugatuck Sweets in Fairfield. On Saturday at 9:30 am, we will gather to pray for those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom, as well as their families. Such events are vital in fostering community spirit and remembrance. We encourage everyone to participate in honoring our heroes.

After 5 & 1/2 months of hospitalization and 13 surgical procedures...times when his mom and dad were told that his prognosis was dire...Leo is now back at school. As we celebrate this miraculous recovery...We thank God and all those who prayed for this beautiful young man and his family. Special appreciation of all those who have joined each Saturday in praying the rosary for Leo...as well.....

Leo will no doubt have challenges on the days forward. For now...he is like every other young seventh grader at school.

God Bless him and his family.

Shall you never lose faith, Leo is a testament that prayer is a powerful tool in bringing our loving God to work ! Never doubt that in prayer all is possible. Let Leo be a symbol of the grace of God at work in not only his life but all of ours.
