We welcomed summer☀️🍉😎at our June SPIN meeting. Sending a big thank you to Dr. Nastasia Brown, DPM who spoke to us about the importance of foot health and how it really impacts your overall health. Our feet 🦶 are very important and need to be treated accordingly!

Thank you to John Newell, the owner of Graceful Transitions for being our 5 minute speaker who talked to us about their moving and downsizing services.

We were also able to recognize and thank Cindy Martin Sharkey as a founding member of SPIN as she gets ready to embrace the joy of retirement! Congratulations Cindy!

Aging Your Way: Health & Wellness Expo vendor registration is open!
This health and wellness expo provides exhibitors the opportunity to showcase information and technology on services, products, and resources to an estimated audience of 2,000.
The 2026 Aging Your Way Expo will be held Wednesday, September 23rd, 2026, from 9:00am to 2:00pm at the Shipley Arena of the Carroll County Agricultural Center in Westminster, MD. Please keep in mind Registration closes Friday September 18th, 2026! Registration is NOT complete until ALL forms and payment are received. Any payments/contracts received after August 07, 2026, will not be listed in the Official Expo Program Guide.
Interested vendors may go online to https://register.carrollcountymd.gov/sotge/ for registration and additional information. For questions email [email protected].

What an amazing evening we had at our summer SPIN Soirée hosted by Liberty Legacy Law Group. A huge thank you to Melissa and Kaitlyn for a fun relaxing evening full of great conversations, wonderful light bites and drinks, laughter and networking. We were also spoiled with cookies,cake pops, and they gifted away four awesome themed raffle baskets to four of our lucky members! We can’t thank you enough for a fun filled Soirée! We look forward to seeing everyone next week on June 17th at our next monthly meeting.

For Older Americans Month, SPIN proudly donated $500 worth of supplies to the Department of Social Services’ Adult Protective Services program.

Needed items included incontinent supplies, cleaning products, and other essentials that will support some of the most vulnerable seniors in our community. ❤️

Dan is a DiSC (personality profile) expert and spoke about various facets of effective communication. So interesting to learn about the impact personalities can have on a conversation! Thank you to Angel Dunchack with Angels Path LLC for being our five minute speaker.
