WYAP is truly honored and grateful to be the grant recipient of $50,000 from the Mayor's Grand Gala and the Advancing Westfield Foundation.
This grant will allow WYAP to continue to live our mission, working to serve youth ages 3-17 in Westfield Washington Township who are facing challenging life circumstances. These funds will allow WYAP to provide even more connections to mentoring, tutoring, mental health counseling, summer camps, enrichment activities and more.
WYAP would like to send a huge thank you for this wonderful opportunity, allowing us the privilege to continue to invest in the wellbeing of Westfield youth.
The Advancing Westfield Foundation has awarded $499,000 in grant funding to 22 organizations serving the Westfield community.
The Advancing Westfield Foundation supports nonprofit partnerships that provide vital services for youth, adults, seniors, veterans, individuals with disabilities and families throughout the community. Funding is made possible through net proceeds from the Mayor’s Grand Gala and supports organizations working in areas such as health and wellness, food insecurity, youth development, senior support, mental health, and disability services.
“These grants represent the heart of what the Advancing Westfield Foundation was created to do — support the organizations that are meeting real needs in our community,” said Mayor Scott Willis. “From youth development and mental health to food insecurity and senior support, these organizations are making a meaningful difference in the lives of Westfield residents. We are grateful for their work and proud to invest in their continued impact.”
