08/08/2026: Today was our last day at the Evan’s Farm market! It was a great way to end the summer!! Evan’s Farm Market really gave OCScommunityUnited a family and we are very grateful for this opportunity to work with them! We hope this partnership continues in the future! Thank you to all our supporters and sponsors!! All this success could not have been possible without them!! This summer was really special for our team! It showed us no matter what may come our way, together, we can always see the light at the end of the tunnel! Our organization really put our values into practice. The importance of teamwork, perseverance, and community was embedded in everything we did! Our board members were super eager to find weekly, fresh inventory to sell. Oftentimes dedicating time, money out of pocket, and their own sleep getting up at 5 AM every Saturday!! Everyone from our board members to their family members and our adult volunteers have been hard at work. Special shout out to Olivia, our secretary, and her whole family for their dedication in planting zahilla and other flowers for our weekly fresh flower vases. Olivia’s grandparents have dedicated their whole summer to bringing joy to our community!! Our President, Xiaowen and Vice president, Hongxin’s family members were also involved in taking care and providing plants and fresh homegrown vegetables for the community! Their grandma spent hours each week making sure that by Saturday they had fresh produce and plants to bring in! We had a community leader from the Ohio Chinese School, Bobby, who donated his personal farm produce to us! They all dedicated hundreds of hours this summer! Thank you to all of them and the adult volunteers: Tina, Jianghong, and Alice! They are all absolutely incredible!! Thank you to all the members as well: the President, Xiaowen Zhu; the Vice-President, HongXin Zhu; the secretary and social media manager, Olivia Lin; and our members Cheyenne Wo and Christian Li. Thank you all for the amazing summer, and see you soon!!
