👑🐝 Calling all future Bee Festival royalty!

We’re excited to share another fun addition to this year’s Ephraim Bee Festival — the 2026 Youth Pageant!

Girls from Doddridge, Ritchie, Tyler, Wetzel, Harrison, Lewis, and Gilmer Counties are invited to participate in two age divisions:

👑 Little Miss: Ages 5–8
👑 Pr***en: Ages 9–12

Contestants will take the stage for introductions, an outfit of choice featuring yellow, evening gown, and on-stage questions — all in a fun environment focused on confidence, friendships, and making some pretty special memories. 💛

And we’d like to give a big thank you to our Chamber member MPLX for sponsoring the prize packages for each division!

Our monthly Doddridge County Chamber of Commerce meeting is happening this Monday, August 17, and with the Ephraim Bee Festival just over a month away, there’s plenty to BUZZ about!

Help us create the official 2026 Ephraim Bee Festival logo! Designs are due September 7 and can be submitted through Chamber Facebook Messenger.

🛍️ Calling local vendors!
Want to be part of this year’s festival? We’re still looking for vendors to help fill the park with local goods, food, crafts, organizations and more. There is no vendor fee!

Whether you’re a Chamber member, interested in volunteering, thinking about becoming a vendor, or simply have ideas for this year’s festival, come join us Monday evening and get involved!

One of the many exciting events returning to this year’s Ephraim Bee Festival is the Dog Pet Parade & Costume Contest, hosted by the 2026 Ephraim Bee Festival Royalty!

This family-friendly event is a fun way to celebrate our community while showing off your furry friend’s personality. Whether your pup is dressed in a bee-inspired costume or something completely unique, we invite you to join the fun!

💛 Our thoughts are with the Doddridge County community today.

Yesterday’s storms left many of our neighbors dealing with damage, power outages, and unexpected challenges. We hope everyone is safe, and our hearts are with those who are beginning the cleanup and recovery process.

We’d like to extend a sincere thank you to the first responders, utility crews, road crews, emergency personnel, and volunteers who have been working tirelessly to keep our community safe and restore services.

If you’re able, please remember to check in on your neighbors—especially older adults, those without power, or anyone who may need an extra helping hand. It’s during times like these that the strength of our community truly shines.

Stay safe, continue to use caution around downed trees and power lines, and let’s keep supporting one another as Doddridge County recovers. 💛
