Successful 2026 Community Baby Shower
In collaboration with 18 Community Partners and family volunteers, the Doddridge County Family Resource Network hosted our annual Community Baby Shower to celebrate growing families in Doddridge County. Nearly 50 in attendance, families with toddlers, newborns, or baby on the way, were showered with wish list items, diapers, refreshments, cookies and juice for the kids from WV Birth to Three and valuable resources. Each family was gifted a handmade quilt from our local Quilts for Kids chapter and a succulent plant shower favor. Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Winnie the Pooh with a Pooh shower theme and story for the kids. We are very pleased with the registrations of this annual event and would like to thank the organizations for supporting families, sharing valuable resources, and sponsoring generous wish list items. Local families truly benefit from this effort.
