All activities for Tuesday, January 27, and Wednesday, January 28 are canceled due to winter weather. This includes 4-H related activities along with CEOS activities including Lesson Leader Training, Stitching Day and the Gun Show Committee Meeting.

Special Guest Speaker

On Wednesday, September 24, the Doddridge County CEOS welcomed a special guest speaker to their monthly stitching day at the Extension Office, Mr. Roger Wyke.

Roger, a resident of Tyler County, spoke on his life and how he found himself becoming a quilter. He shared some of his work with those present and spoke on the time and effort he put into them as well as different techniques. One of Mr. Wyke's quilts was our 2025 Doddridge County Fair "Best of Show" winner so you just may recognize it.

Roger's quilts will be on display the first weekend of October at the Salem Apple Butter Festival.

Join us for our next stitching day where Mrs. Alexis Pringle will be joining us as our guest speaker. Alexis will be demonstrating "finger knitting" and sharing her award winning "chunky blankets" with us on Wednesday, October 29th, beginning at 11 a.m. Call (304) 873-1801 to register or for further information.

T-shirts for Breast Cancer Awareness.

T-shirts are being sold for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Those attending the County Commission meeting for the reading of the proclamation for Breast Cancer Awareness Month are encouraged to wear pink.

Shirts are $15
Orders must be sent to Kim Jozwick by Friday at 5 p.m.
