Bobby is a joyful, snuggly, and squishy 7 month old with a bilateral cleft lip and palate. His infectious smile has come to warm the hearts of our small community here in Virginia. He recently had his first lip adhesion surgery in March and is preparing for his palate repair in October. He loves broccoli puree and giggling with his siblings. This past May, Bobby got dedicated to the Lord at our church. We are so humbled and praising God for Mia Moo fund and their support while we navigate his first year of life! Bobby's Family 🩵

May was so much fun! I graduated from college, had to post this picture one last time! Yay! I am feeling so relieved, and definitely caught up on some much needed sleep! In the middle of the month I went to the beach for family vacation! It was so peaceful, and I am so grateful for the time we spent together! Immediately after that, I headed to summer camp to be a counselor there for the last time! I will be there for the next few weeks and I am so excited! I hope you guys had a great end of the school year! Have an amazing summer! Love you all- Mia :) 🄰😘

The day that Levi was born was the day we learned of his cleft lip, which had not shown up on prenatal ultrasounds. Though we were surprised and unsure of the road ahead, we were instantly in love with his sweet little face just the way it was! When he was 4 months old, he underwent cleft repair surgery. This was his only surgery until now, when he was finally ready for his alveolar bone graft at just 10 years old. Levi is now recovering from the bone graft and enjoying the last few weeks of school before summer break. One day, Levi wants to be a Mission Control Specialist for NASA! Until then, he keeps himself busy with Legos, playing with friends, and learning all he can about space! ~ Levi's Mom

Easton is an energetic, 13-year-old boy, who was born with unilateral cleft lip and palate. He also has epilepsy and retinal dystrophy. He has been a trooper on his journey beginning with the NAM and now continuing with a lot of orthodontic work. Due to anxiety, it has taken a bit to get this far but Easton is determined to take on this next step. After some braces, we are preparing for a bone graft and jaw surgery. Easton loves to participate in sports - football, basketball, soccer, and his new love, wrestling. He also participates in band and choir and is self-motivated to homeschool. Summer is coming and you will find Easton at the pool every day! Thank you for supporting his journey! We are so grateful that we came across Mia's story in a time of many unknowns for our family. Thank you, Mia, for your courage to share your journey! ~ Easton's Mom

Hey guys! Mia here! This month I finished my last month of college!!! Crazy! This month, it started with our school cancelling it’s classes and replacing classes with fair rides, live music and free food! Our school calls this day ā€œBeautiful Dayā€ and it truly was! The sun was shining, and it was a sweet memory I will forever cherish!
In the middle of the month, we celebrated Good Friday by going to Bridgestone Arena to hear powerful worship, and a powerful message! It was so sweet to celebrate Jesus with my whole family, and a whole family of Believers!
Towards the end of the month, I barely remember it! I pulled multiple all-nighters to study and cram for finals! I was fueled by coffee, prayer, and my friends going through it with me! It was all worth it in the end when I walked across the stage last Saturday to get my diploma! Lipscomb University will always have a special place in my heart. It brought me by best friends, clarity about my career, and mentors that will guide me! While I am so sad to graduate, I am so ready for this next chapter in my life!
I hope you all had an amazing April! Happy Summer!!!

Packer is one year old and was born with a unilateral cleft lip and palate. Despite two surgeries in the first year of his life, he is the happiest boy you could be. He loves playing outside, eating his yoggie bites, and making a mess with his toys. Our "Pac-man" has been through a journey (and still has a long way to go), but along the way the Lord has been mighty faithful. We are incredibly thankful for the Mia Moo Fund for their support! ~ Packer’s Mom

Carter was born with a complete bilateral cleft lip and palate and has undergone three surgeries so far. He has faced every challenge with bravery and a positive spirit. Now 8 years old, he is a smart, funny boy who loves the outdoors, especially fishing, catching frogs, and riding bikes with his brothers. When he grows up, he hopes to be a football or baseball player. We are so grateful to the Mia Moo Fund for all they do! Carter’s Mom

Brenson was born in March 2025 with unilateral cleft lip and palate. His medical team recommended Nam placement that started at 3 weeks old until his first surgery to repair his lip and nose at 4 and a half months. In the beginning, it was difficult to enjoy the little things because we were running back and forth to appointments sometimes twice a week until his first surgery. His cleft repair was completed at 10 months old. Despite Brenson facing many trials and tribulations during the beginning of his life, he is the happiest baby with a big personality. He always wants to be busy, in everyone else’s business, and never meets a stranger. We are very thankful for Dr.Hoppe and his team at UMMC for taking extra special care of him. The Mia Moo Fund has been a blessing to our family, and we will be forever thankful for everything they’ve done! I’m sure we will continue to spend a lot of time at doctor visits, but keeping our faith strong will help us rise above any overwhelm we may experience. Jeremiah29:11 ~ Brenson’s Mom 🄰
