I was 32 years old when Mia was born with a cleft lip/palate. Jase and I were also living i obedience and service to the Lord. The obvious question then was WHY. We answered YES to Him then and have ansered YES since. Why would we say NO? He has covered ALL of ur needs AND hers! 😍 Missy Robertson

Nash is two years old and was born with a bilateral cleft lip and pallete. Despite having 5 procedures, countless hours in the car and appointments Nash is the happiest most rambunctious little guy. He loves spending time outdoors, pushing anything that moves, playing with his big sister, and sharing all the cuddles with family and friends. Nashy boy is as sweet as he is tenacious. He faces every challenge head on (sometimes literally). We are incredibly thankful for the Mia Moo Fund and their support. Nash's Family

We welcomed a RECORD 36 families to our annual Mia Moo Funday weekend! 🥹🎉

These cleft cuties and their families travel from all across the country to spend this special weekend together. What started as a chance to connect with others walking a similar journey has turned into lifelong friendships. 🫶🏻

This year’s theme was FRIENDSHIP, and we were reminded of John 15:15 and the greatest friendship of all: the one we have with Jesus. ✝️

This month felt incredibly long in the best way! I felt like everyday I had a new side quest or a new thing (or three) going on! I started off the month at the beach soaking in the last few days of summer and it was perfect! I went straight from the beach to Nashville to speak at the college I graduated from and it was the sweetest full circle moment! I spent some much needed time with my siblings while I was there and it definitely was a hard goodbye! I also celebrated my birthday this month! My best friend drove 11 hours to spend it with me and it made it the best birthday yet! Thankfully the end of the month calmed down a bit and now I am spending my weekends watching LSU football, fishing with my dad, and watching movies with my mom!
I hope this month was all things good and I cannot wait to see some of you guys so soon at MiaMooFunday coming up this weekend! - Mia! 🥰

Diana is such a blessing, and I am so thankful God saw fit to give her to us. She is a wonderful big sister to her younger sister and two younger brothers. She has had 3 surgeries. Thank you all so much for aiding us in Diana's treatment. God Bless.

Isaac has continued to grow and thrive. He just turned 9 in August, and this summer had his third cleft-related surgery. He was so brave throughout it all. Isaac loves to be active and play with his brother. He also loves baseball and joined a team this year - he is an awesome first baseman! He is a math whiz and always keeps us laughing with his silliness. We are so grateful for the support we’ve received from the Mia Moo Fund for Isaac. It is a huge gift to not have to worry about the financial piece of his care because of their support. And knowing that we have a whole community of families around us that relate to what we’re going through is another blessing that we don’t take for granted!

Hey guys! It's Mia! This month, I started it off in Nashville, where I finished up my nannying jobs that I have had since I was just starting at Lipscomb! I said goodbye to my sweet families and officially moved back to Louisiana! It has definitely been a bit of an adjustment, but I love being back home!
I started a new job, which I love so much, and I am loving this simple sweet stage of life I am currently in! Of course I still fish with my dad almost every day, but other than that, I am just living a simple, boring life! Thank goodness!
I hope you guys had a wonderful August and an easy transition from Summer break to starting school again! Me & dad had fun recreating the photo! Do you think it looks the same?🤣

Donnie, short for Donovan was born with a bilateral cleft lip and palate on July 14, 2017. He had his lip revised at 3 months and the palate at 12 months. Both times, I was amazed at how resilient he was. Donnie has always been the brightest light in the room and is full of curiosity and wonder. He loves Halloween animatronics and one day aspires to be a mechanical engineer to create his own. Donnie's cleft has never held him back! We are beyond grateful for discovering the Mia Moo Foundation!! What a wonderful gift!
