Last night reminded me just how fortunate we are to have such incredible first responders in our community.

A heartfelt thank you to the JHTC parents and coaches, the Fire Department, the West Milford Police Department, the West Milford Ambulance Corps, and the Hackensack helicopter flight crew for everything you did.

Think about this:
🚔 Police arrived in just 7 minutes.
🚑 West Milford Ambulance Corps arrived in 9 minutes.
🚁 The helicopter landed within 24 minutes.
🏥 Within 58 minutes of the emergency call, the patient was at the hospital and in the care of the trauma team.

Those response times are remarkable, but what impressed me even more was the professionalism, compassion, skill, and teamwork displayed by everyone involved. In a stressful and frightening situation, every person we encountered was calm, reassuring, and completely focused on helping.

To all of the first responders, dispatchers, flight crew members, and medical professionals involved: thank you. Your dedication and commitment to serving others do not go unnoticed.

West Milford is truly blessed to have you.

From dad… to coach… to dad, we cannot thank Coach Eric enough for everything he has done for our program.

Over the years, he has helped develop multiple AAU State Champions and All-Americans. To say those accomplishments happened by coincidence would simply not be true. Success leaves clues, and Coach Eric has always emphasized the values that create champions: hard work, commitment, consistency, and the mindset that championships are won long before competition day.

The results speak for themselves, but what stands out even more is the impact he has had on the athletes he coaches and the culture he has built within our program.

We see you, Coach. We appreciate the countless hours, the sacrifices, and the belief you've poured into so many young athletes.

Congratulations to you, your family, and especially your baby girl on an incredible accomplishment. This championship is a reflection of years of dedication, and no one deserves to celebrate it more than you.

We're proud of you and grateful to have you leading the way.

🏆 NJSIAA State Champion! 🏆

If you ever need motivation to prove that hard work pays off, look no further than our girl Peyton!

In one incredible season, Peyton went from never placing at the NJSIAA State Championships to standing on top of the podium as the NJSIAA State Champion in the Javelin. She is now the only girl in our program's history to both place at the State Championships and earn a State Championship title in the same season.

Her dedication, perseverance, and countless hours of hard work turned a dream into reality. Peyton's journey is a reminder that success doesn't happen overnight… it is earned through commitment, resilience, and believing in yourself every step of the way.

We couldn't be prouder of you, Peyton! Your accomplishment has inspired so many, and this is only the beginning. 💙💛🥇🎯

Saying that we are “Proud” of our athletes and coaches is an understatement…

After a long day we walked away with:

1st - 9 State Champions
2nd - 17
3rd -27
4th - 25
5th - 19
6th - 15

… and our kids qualified to move on to regions in 165 events!
