5/12 - CHARLIE WAS ADOPTED FOR THE 2ND TIME....
FINGERS CROSSED.....
If your not going to commit and give a dog longer than 48 hours to settle in DO NOT ADOPT A DOG.....
Poor Charlie was adopted on Thursday afternoon and will be retuned today.
Charlie spent 4 months in foster, so going into a new environment with new people was scary for him. Charlie was nervous and skittish around the kids ( he only met them Friday afternoon )
I cannot stress enough that some pups take time to de compress and settle in.
We know Charlie very well, he is a goofy, silly pup. Not aggressive. He is 6 months old, still a baby.
We will take Charlie back today at our adoption event in Ringwood and we will hope another family comes to give him more of a chance.
Our team is frustrated, sad, angry, and disappointed.
I just dont understand why someone would adopt a dog, only to return him within 48 hours because he is not yet " the perfect pup "
LETS SHOW CHARLIE - HIS FOREVER HOME IS STILL OUT THERE....
Charlie is a 6 month old Husky / Pitbull mix ( DNA TEST DONE )
He is neutered, current on vaccines, microchipped and on flea and tick prevention and heartworm prevention
His current weight is 44 pounds. He is a gorgeous blk and tan colored pup.
COME MEET THIS SWEET BOY TODAY
( We also have his brother Bailey today at the event )
