🍂 Only a few spots available... Fall preschool enrollment is open at Little Nestlings!

If you’re looking for a warm, creative preschool where your child can explore, create, build friendships, spend time outdoors, and learn through play, we’d love to welcome your family for a visit.

Little Nestlings is a Reggio Emilia-inspired preschool in West Linn for children ages 3–5. Our days include art, outdoor exploration, STEAM, storytelling, imaginative play, ASL exposure, and lots of opportunities for children to follow their curiosity and grow in confidence.

For the 2026–2027 school year:

🌿 Ages 3–5
🌿 2–5 days per week, based on availability
🌿 School day: 8:15 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
🌿 Optional aftercare available until 5:00 p.m.
🌿 Serving families in West Linn, Lake Oswego, Oregon City, and surrounding communities

There are lots of ways to help, depending on what you enjoy. You might:

Summer camp is officially a wrap! ☀️✨

Little Nestlings will be closed next week while our team takes some well-deserved time to rest and recharge, our school gets a deep clean, and we put the finishing touches on preparations for fall. We’ll be back before you know it! 💛

Children’s Atelier Camp is a wrap! Week 2 was full of color, curiosity, and creativity! 🎨 We mixed and discovered new colors, shared ideas and observations, explored art books together, and let those conversations inspire our own creations. Another beautiful week of seeing children as artists, thinkers, and capable creators. ✨

IMPORTANT UPDATE: We are SOLD OUT of our 2026 Summer Camps!

This creative summer camp is for children ages 3–6. Children will explore pouring, scooping, floating, sinking, water movement, and sensory discovery.

Children will practice turn-taking, cooperative play, cause-and-effect thinking, problem-solving, and sensory regulation. This is water exploration, not swimming.

Families may choose available camp weeks, with half-day and full-day options.

Join us for Bridges, Roads & Pathways at Little Nestlings Early Learning Center in West Linn.

Children will build, test, connect, and imagine using simple materials to create bridges, roads, and pathways. This is a hands-on morning for curious kids who love to build and problem-solve.

Kinda chic: seeing children as capable from the very beginning. 🤍 Child-led learning, big feelings welcomed, social-emotional skills at the foundation, and a beautiful space that says, “You belong here. You can do this.”

This week we asked the question, “What is art?”

Here were some of their responses:

Coloring pictures and painting
Using creativity
Glue on paper
Something you make
Fabric, music, costumes, dress ups, dance, beads, and plays.

Then we dive a little deeper and agreed that art is also being brave, patient, and making mistakes.

Now it’s time to rest and recharge before we dive into more explorations in the atelier!

A small glimpse into our Children’s Atelier camp this week. ✨

In the atelier, materials become languages for thinking, wondering, and communicating. Children have been exploring clay, watercolor, textiles, and other open-ended mediums, discovering how each material invites different ideas, questions, and possibilities. Rather than creating toward a single outcome, they’ve been experimenting, revisiting, and expressing their thinking in the many languages of childhood. We can’t wait to see where their explorations lead next.
