West Hollywood Community Cats Together, we can FIX this! 🐈 We assist residents in πŸˆβ€β¬› through WeHo City's Trap-Neuter-Return Program. No cost spay/neuter for our community cats.

All we are saying is give Purrs a Chance 😽 Meow Together we can FIX this πŸˆβ€β¬› We are volunteers who assist residents in TNR with FREE & LOCAL services. Our mission is to encourage trap, neuter, return (known as TNR) of our 4-legged residents, stopping the multiplying of our community cats, and allowing them to live healthier lives. After the surgery male cats are less aggressive and stop fighting a

nd female cats stop reproducing every 3 to 4 months which is the #1 reason shelters and rescues are constantly overwhelmed. TNR takes community involvement. 🐾 Feline Fact Friday 🐾

Did you know that a litter of kittens can have multiple fathers⁉️

This time of year, many people focus on rescuing kittens and helping mama catsβ€”and that's incredibly important. 🚩 But let's not forget about the male cats.

Female cats release multiple eggs during ovulation, and those eggs can be fertilized by s***m from different male cats if she mates with more than one tom during that time. As a result, kittens within the same litter can have different fathers!

πŸ’” While tomcats are simply following their natural instincts, life as an unneutered male cat is often a difficult one. Roaming in search of mates can lead to fights, bite wounds, abscesses, disease transmission, injuries, and other dangers.

Neutering doesn't just prevent unwanted littersβ€”it helps male cats live safer, healthier lives with less fighting, fewer injuries, and reduced disease risk.

Be kind to your male feline friends and have them neutered for a healthier future.
