Dear Scholarship Recipients, Families, and Friends,
With heartfelt joy and pride, we extend our warmest congratulations to this year’s high school senior scholarship recipients, Mateo Calderon, Edin Morales-Gomez, Hugo Idrogo, Shalhevet Koenigsberg, Shira Massihesraellian and Catherine Urquiza. Your dedication, perseverance, and commitment to your education and community have truly set you apart. This achievement reflects not only your hard work, but also the bright promise you carry into the future. Each student will receive a $2,500.00 scholarship award.
As you take this next step in your journey, we hope this scholarship serves as both recognition of your accomplishments and encouragement for all that lies ahead. You represent the very best of our community, and we are honored to support your dreams.
We would also like to express our deepest gratitude to the many supporters, donors, businesses and trustees whose generosity and vision have made this scholarship possible. Your continued belief in the importance of education has created opportunities that will have a lasting impact for generations of students. A special thanks to the Music Department, Mr. Di Pasquale and his students, Arianna Corona and Christian Dominguez of the West Hempstead Secondary School for volunteering their time to make this a night, a night to remember. The dinner was held at Plattduetsche Park Restaurant on May 14,2026
As we proudly enter our 58th year of awarding scholarships to students residing within our school district, we humbly ask for your ongoing support. With your help, we can continue this meaningful tradition and ensure that future students are given the same opportunity to pursue their goals and aspirations.
Congratulations once again to our deserving recipients, and thank you to all who make this work possible.
With sincere appreciation,
The Trustees of the WHCSF.
