Thank you to West Hartford Town Council Members Lisa Lazarus and Barry Walters for joining our meeting on today! Our Navigators loved learning what it’s like running for election! We also had fun with our Cookie Election! We learned about Rank Choice voting for the primary, which lead to sugar cookies and chocolate chip cookies making it to the general election! Which cookie do you think won???

Last weekend we had our Fall camping trip at Steep Rock Preserve. Our Navigators had a blast! Part of the trip included a 3.3 mile Hike!!

At our first meeting of the year, we had a camping relay! Rain forced us inside but our Navigators still had fun and learned! We built 4 types of fires out of pretzel sticks, hauled water to our “camp sites”, and our Navigators put together tents without adult assistance! We also welcomed several new Navigators!
So much fun for all! Navigators USA
