Great weekend at our very own Devil’s Den. A very technical course for the DEVILS DEN AR MTB CHAMPIONSHIP XC 9/14/2024.
Ashton Pease snagged 1st place in Cat 2 boys 15–18 leading from the beginning and holding it for all 18 miles!
podiumed with 3rd place in cat 1 15-29 girls. “I was feeling good for the first two laps but bonked in the final lap. I’m looking forward to racing at Kessler next weekend, using what I learned in this race.”
capra placed 4th in cat 1 15-29 girls after mechanicals and crashes set her back in the first lap she didn’t give up and rode hard the second two laps
won cat 2 female 15-29. Alaura said: “I registered for the devils den race very last minute so I went into it telling myself I would just do my best. Aside from my dropper post not working properly and a bolt falling out of my shifter on the last lap, I felt strong and remained in the lead. I was very excited to take home the win!”
