There is something truly special about slowing down and taking a moment to notice the world around us. These beautiful birds, captured during Spring Chirp, are an awesome reminder of the incredible wildlife and natural beauty right here in our own backyard.

In our busy lives, we should all take a little more time to slow down, look up, and appreciate the wonder and splendor of nature.

Every bird, every wildflower, every butterfly, and every quiet moment outdoors has a story to tell.

Spring Chirp Season Is Coming!

We’re excited to kick off our Spring Chirp Birding Festival season at the Southeast Arizona Birding Festival in Tucson next week!

While Spring Chirp 2027 doesn’t officially take flight until April 7–10, it’s never too early to start planning, and getting excited for spring birding in the Rio Grande Valley!

We’re sharing a few photos to give you a little taste of the incredible birds, butterflies, and wildlife you can experience when you visit us in South Texas. And trust us…there’s so much more waiting for you!

It may be July...but we're already dreaming of spring!

While summer is in full swing, it's never too early to start getting excited about Spring Chirp Festival 2027! Every spring, the Rio Grande Valley comes alive with incredible migratory birds, colorful resident species, and unforgettable birding experiences, and we can't wait to celebrate them with you.

From dazzling Green Jays and Altamira Orioles to hummingbirds, warblers, and everything in between, Spring Chirp is a chance to experience the amazing bird diversity that makes our region so special. We're already busy planning another fantastic festival, and we have some exciting surprises in store!
