This month, we continued our mission through community events, advocacy efforts, and ongoing outreach supporting women, children, and survivors. From mental health awareness and wellness initiatives to volunteer service and local partnerships, we are grateful for every opportunity to show up and serve.
As we move forward, we remain committed to creating safe spaces, meeting practical needs, and building hope throughout our community. Thank you to all who continue to support and walk alongside this mission.

📍Reminder:
Our Back-to-School Uniform Collection is still underway through June 30. We are accepting donations of new or gently used uniforms for children and teens (sizes 5+), along with essential school items to help students start the year with confidence and dignity. 🎒

We are so grateful to Luxe Beauty by Nani and Co., along with all of the incredible collaborators, for preparing thoughtful Mother’s Day bags for the women we serve at Gracious Hearts 🤍

These gifts were filled with care, kindness, and encouragement, reminding the moms in our community that they are seen, valued, and appreciated. Your generosity helped create meaningful moments of love and support for so many women.

We are proud to share that our Founder, Amanda Garza, is a passionate advocate for mental health and currently serves as the Membership Coordinator for NAMI STRGV (National Alliance on Mental Illness Rio Grande Valley). 🤍

This year, Amanda had the honor of being part of a historic moment as NAMI STRGV hosted the very first NAMIWalks event in the Rio Grande Valley—helping bring mental health awareness, support, and conversation directly into our community.

Mental health matters, and no one should have to struggle alone. NAMI STRGV offers support groups, education, resources, and encouragement for individuals living with mental illness, as well as for family members and loved ones supporting someone through their journey.

If you are interested in making a difference, there are also volunteer opportunities available to get involved and support mental health advocacy in our community. Together, we are breaking stigma, creating safe spaces, and reminding people that help, hope, and support exist. ✨
