Ken Swingle long time model builder built much of this model all by hand and has donated it to our Danbury Fairgrounds Museum. The scale of the car is much bigger than we are use to seeing along with amazing detail and workmanship on this Chick Stockwell 151. This is a rendition of one of Chicks early Danbury cars with white on the bottom and the red on the top. Thank You Ken for your generosity ,you are a amazing Model builder. Don & Jenn

Handmade in the 1960s for The Great Danbury State Fairgrounds. We picked these original figures up today from a antique dealer who brought them up from Virginia. These will be permanent display items here at our Danbury Fair museum. We will have to do a count but we believe we may be close to having 250 original statues from The Danbury Fairgrounds at this point!

My Uncle David Johnson took the 151 for a quick spin to check out how it drove. I would say this is about the first time its been under its own power painted up the way Chick Stockwell had it and retired this car in 1969, And yes every single piece of bent up metal tells a story as this is the way it was raced. I can only believe Chick is looking on down with a huge smile. Getting closer to the finish for this one. Great Job Uncle Dave at Danbury Fair & Racearena memorabilia.

We are always amazed at the unique items that surface and this Monkey coin operated orchestra is definitely one of them.
This was once at The Great Danbury State Fair. On the back the (Order) card is still stapled to it as you will see in the photo below. We believe this is from the late 1950s. Jim recently met up with us to pass on this really cool piece that was donated by Lauren Post. Thank you Jim & Lauren we will have this on display and possibly even working in the near future! Here is the NEW 2026 Black Shirt! The design is to look Vintage hence the way it looks! We are now taking Pre-orders for this Shirt!

The print is on the back and front. The front will be the same thing just smaller, on left chest.

Reminder that we are offering these shirts as a way to keep funding our museum. Our primary business is Screen Printing & Embroidery and this is our Hobby that we all enjoy.

Updated photos April 15th - My Uncle has the exhaust tack welded on the 151 Chick Stockwell car and ready to be welded up as close to the photos we could find of this car back in the day. Nice job Uncle Dave Johnson. Even has some battle scars / dents on some of the pipes!
