We want to Thank everyone for the support you have shown us over the years. However with the way things are going with a lot of Granges within VT and around the country, we have tried to gain in membership and continue on. It did not work for us.
It saddens me to say that as of June 24th we will be having a family picnic and giving up our Charter. Which means for the non grangers, we are closing our doors for the last time. We have struggled with very little help for the last 2 years when we had decided to give it all we have to grow our Grange. Including public forums and invites for the entire area. With very little response. May you all be blessed with a liberal harvest. As we let our fields go fallow.

We had an awesome first night of our "Pitch" Card Party season. We had 16 people play, we have room for more. We play every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month at Bambi Mason's home at 7:30pm start time. Play until 9:30. Prizes, Refreshments and FUN!!! For a small fee as it is a fundraiser for our Grange.

Due to the bitter cold weather and road conditions the "Pitch" card party for tonight is cancelled. Next one is in 2 weeks on the 18th.

As we prepare to move into a New Year our Goals are:
To do more community activities
To grow our membership
To help other community organizations

So as you set goals and prepare to move forward always remember the people that you know and the ones you have yet to meet. Who knows the new friends might be your next grange member.

Leanna and Regina Mason attended the VT State Grange Session in Montpelier VT at the Capital Plaza Hotel as our voting delegates. Leanna was the youngest delegate at session this year. Leanna also became a member of the VT State Grange by taking the 6th Degree on Friday night.

Busy but fun day ahead. Putting the finishing touches on the Float for the West Pawlet Fire Departments Carnival Parade. Tonight at 6pm. Come on out and enjoy the parade and see what we came up with for the Theme "Rain, Rain Go Away" It was a lot of fun. Had great help from our Youth and Junior members.

Great meeting tonight, had guest's from Bomoseen Grange join us for the meeting. Next month-August-we will be having a Community Picnic. Date, time & place to be determined within the next couple of days. Will let everyone know.

We are having our monthly meeting on July 24th at 7:30pm at the West Pawlet Firehouse. Everyone is welcome to attend, open to everyone in the communities and surrounding areas.
