Yesterday 3- beautiful horses(2- mustangs&shetland) crossed that rainbow bridge to forever green pastures .

I can not thank Jan, Debra , Marilyn , Dr Malone and Chris for helping to make this sad event go smoothly and with much love and respect for them.

Lil Roc - 26 yrs old Utah mustang, meet him as a two yr wild adopted Mustang to a lady who kept him at whrc in mims for a few months back in 2002, I actually have a pretty cool video of what not to do as he broke 3 ribs from a double barrel kick! But it was my fault and a lesson learned back then, used the video at LifeSavers wild horse rescue in Lancaster Ca , Jill Starrs Boot Camp event for a hard knocks learning experience! It has a bit of humor to it - need to get it on a usb to reshow it!

Oso a 28 yr old Wyoming mustang- what a horse he was- big kind gentle smart well behaved- did it all
Lived in south Fl was part of posse group, drill competitions, show and trail riding . What a handsome big mustang born before the BLM senator Burns Bill 2004 , which was the start of ruining natural selection of the strongest surviving wild horses-back in the day before 2004, BLM satellite adoption would have horses rounded up 6 wks off the range - there was no stock piles of short long term holdings .
The mustangs were bigger smarter easier to work with. Humans have been changing who gets to stay in the wild with mass round ups! Who gets to be released - not sure if you know this saying” No Matter How Good She Looks- Someone Somewhere is Tried of Her Sh%t “
So pretty don’t always mean right!

The Duke we called him -25- 30ish in age .Shetland pony with moon blindness was in horrible condition in Feb of this year! He bounced back in great body condition but his breathing and moon blindness got the best of quality of life .

Well here we go again
This time at Jewett Clinic in Orlando hospital
Jewett is having to redo my ankle after advent health used the wrong type of fix - the bone after 6 months not healed- plus ankle is pushed over - joint damage now too .
If you look at X-ray can see the gap in ankle and misalignment of ankle joint -
Going to be 6 wks in cast
No walking
This has been really tough
I had been complaining to PA doctor from advent health- she kept just telling it’s fine, which it was not , sharp shooting pain in ankle , walking like a toddler , so I when to Jewett clinic for a second option.

Amiee to is GP and she rather lay out in the rain and dig a hole
I had her come in to be dry in kennel unless she decides to lay outside in its yard area
The two pups are sisters GP/ doodles 7 months old females , for adoption

Our guardian GP KeNuk takes his job seriously in any weather
He has 42 ac with houses barns carports porches and yet he chooses to remain out in the weather
Bedded down in the pasture watching
Amazingly he gets white on his own !

Both are 6 yr old mustangs
Both are being gentled up and available for adoption
Both came from a neglected place and had horrible skin issues and under weight .
Both are improving, utd on vaccines coggins and worming
Please consider saving a mustang and adopt !
Both are titled, do not require 6’ fencing
Both are from NV herds
