Jackie’s Hoofprint Tales: A Little Grass Soup 🌧️

After what feels like endless days of rain, the ranch has become one giant soggy mess! The ground is so saturated that every step comes with a little sinking sensation. Even the pastures have turned into temporary ponds!

But the horses? They’re making the best of it!

Onyx is busy searching for the chunky bits in her grass soup, while the babies have their own agenda! A little playful nudging, some silly faces, and a whole lot of personality. One seems ready for mischief while the other looks like they’re questioning their life choices! Apparently, even soggy pastures can’t dampen a little youthful spirit!

And then there’s Mr. Red, standing there with that unmistakable look of, “Excuse me, where do you think you’re going? I wasn’t finished getting my scratches!” 😂❤️

Sometimes life gets a little muddy, but there’s still plenty of sunshine, laughter, and love to be found between the puddles.

Until the next hoofprint… 💚🐴

FRONT ROW AT THE RANCH 🐴

It’s a rainy, gloomy day, but the field’s buffet is still open! The horses and birds are sharing the bounty, with plenty for everyone.

A peaceful little view from our front row seat at the ranch. ❤️

We were so blessed to be part of Project VetRelief’s 13th annual golf tournament today at the Golden Bear Club! Eric and Wi******er helped kick things off with the sh***un start (and it was a sh***un!), and Grace joined them to visit with the golfers. 🐴🐾

This tournament raises money to help veterans and their families, including veterans living with PTSD. It brings people together to support those who have served our country.

We were honored to participate and truly appreciate all that Project VetRelief does for us and our veterans! ❤️🇺🇸

Thank you Project Vet Relief!!

Wi******er’s first solo outing, and he made it count. We got to kick things off with the introduction and sh***un start at the 13th Annual Project Vet Relief Golf Tournament.

FRONT ROW AT THE RANCH 🐴🌿

There’s always something to see from the front row!

The horses are peacefully grazing under the oaks, the butterflies are busy enjoying the wildflowers, a hawk stopped by to keep an eye on things, and of course, there’s always a four-legged friend ready to join the fun. 🐶🦋🦅

No traffic. No crowds. Just 53 acres of animals, nature, and a little bit of ranch life happening right outside the door.

Some days the best entertainment doesn’t require a ticket. ❤️

SUNDAY MORNING POND THERAPY 🛶🐴🐊

Ranch chores were done, the weather was beautiful, so what better way to spend a little Sunday morning than taking the kayak out on the pond?

Apparently, we had an audience. 😂 The horses stopped to watch, probably wondering what the heck are we doing out there?

We paddled around enjoying the quiet, the beautiful sky and everything that makes this ranch such a special place. Even our fake pond resident looked peaceful.

Then there’s the REAL pond resident. 🐊😳

Yep… just us, our kayak and a gator sharing the pond. Because apparently this is what we call “relaxing” at Spirit Equine Therapy! 😂

Sometimes after all the chores are done, it’s nice to simply enjoy the place we’re so blessed to call home. ❤️

FRONT ROW AT THE RANCH 🐿️🐿️

Apparently, we have two new residents who have completely captured this girl’s attention. ❤️ She can sit here forever watching those two squirrels run, chase and play outside the lanai.

I’m pretty sure she thinks this is her own personal TV… and the squirrels are her favorite show. 😂🐾
