Last night, Wayzata Lodge hosted its Annual Awards Night to the public, where we honored and celebrated many worthy and deserving young individuals. Eight scholarships were awarded (unfortunately, two recipients could not be there) to local high school graduates from across the west metro with their families and friends in attendance. Grand Master Shawn Carrick was also present and assisted with the awards ceremony.

We also had roughly 50 Brothers in attendance from 6 different Lodges for the dinner, Awards ceremony, and Lodge meeting thereafter.

Congratulations to everyone, and thank you all for a great and memorable night.

Earlier this morning, 14 volunteers from Wayzata Lodge placed over 1000 flags at Fort Snelling National Cemetery for Memorial Day for the third consecutive year. It was a solemn and rewarding experience. Thank you to those who volunteered their time and thank you to all who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

Wayzata Lodge held their last meeting of the year last night and it was a great evening. Over 40 Brothers participated in our Annual Lodge of Sorrows ceremony, we held our 26' Officer elections, and did our normal, jovial business with great fellowship. We also had 7 Brothers visiting from Newport Lodge and Templar Lodge.

Congratulations to WB Mike Van Peursem on a good year, and congrats to WM elect Brian Feia and his 26' Officer line.
