Today, we had the pleasure of hearing from Whitney Kilmark, Marketing & Management Pathway Instructor, DECA Advisor, and Gator Gear School-Based Enterprise Advisor at Ware County High School, along with two impressive student representatives, Cayden Smith and Jimena Sepulveda, who shared their firsthand experiences in the program.
Whitney highlighted the impact of career-focused education and the many opportunities available to students through the Marketing & Management Pathway, DECA, and Gator Gear. Through these programs, students gain valuable hands-on experience in business, marketing, leadership, and customer service while developing skills that will serve them well in both college and future careers.
One of the most meaningful parts of today's presentation was hearing directly from the students. They shared how these experiences have helped them build confidence, strengthen leadership abilities, and prepare for success beyond the classroom. Their passion, professionalism, and enthusiasm were a true reflection of the positive impact these programs are making.
The presentation served as a reminder of the importance of investing in workforce development and providing students with real-world learning opportunities. Through the support of educators, local businesses, and community partners, Ware County students are gaining the tools and experiences needed to become the next generation of leaders.
We appreciate Whitney and her students for taking the time to speak with our club and share their experiences. Their presentation was encouraging, and we look forward to seeing the continued success of these outstanding programs and students. 🎓✨
