All through the month of September, we talk to kids about how they can get involved in GOING GOLD. They may not have jobs or cars or bank accounts or phones, but they can make a difference.

Parents can get their kids involved in the conversation. They can tell them that there are sick kids around the world that need prayer. They can take them to an event, add a t-shirt to the closet, hang a gold bow on the front door, buy a cup of lemonade, host a bake stand, paint a Camp Rock and so much more. Just because kids are little doesn’t mean they can’t make a difference.

Giving back, raising awareness and making a difference in your community can happen at any age!

It’s always such a special night at the Lady Gators 🐊 cancer awareness softball game!

Sweet Regina was able to be there and our community and Lady Gators raised $2,000 for her family as she walks through treatment right now.

Americans spend more on Starbucks in three days than the federal government spends on childhood cancer research in an entire year.

And childhood cancer receives only about 4% of federal cancer research funding.

Let that sink in..

We aren't asking you to give up your coffee.
We're asking you to care about the kids.

💛 They deserve more research.
💛 They deserve better treatments.
💛 They deserve a future.

Kids are not statistics.
They are worth fighting for.

💛 What a sweet morning at This And That Apparel handing out orders from our September GO GOLD shirt campaign!

We have literally touched every shirt that has gone out and we have thanked the Lord hundreds and hundreds of times as we read your names and filled your bags!

Seeing our little community GO GOLD year after year is truly something special!

Also wearing my new Addy’s Army hat today and thinking about other childhood cancer families as we share what it means to make sure these kids get the best treatment and research possible!!
