Remote take a spill? Clicker take a digger? Well, good news! We can recycle them all - TV remotes, stereo remotes, Roku remotes, Blue Ray remotes... you name it. Bring yours on down any Friday from 9am-4pm, and we'll make sure they're responsibly recycled.

Holy recycling, Batman! In addition to other rechargeable batteries (standard rate of $2.29/lb), Good News Project now accepts lead acid car, boat, and RV batteries at $5.00 each. So, whether you have unwanted rechargeable batteries for power tools, laptops, cell phones, wireless appliances, or other electronics, we're the perfect place to go with them. Where else can you take your batteries where 100% of the proceeds go toward a good cause?!

Next week the Mobile HELP Truck will be out-and-about in central and north-central Wisconsin. The truck stops in Antigo, Athens, Birnamwood, Edgar, Marshfield, Merrill, Minocqua/Woodruff, Mosinee, Rhinelander, Stratford and Tomahawk.

Two weeks each month, medical equipment is brought to people who live outside of Wausau, making it easier for them to borrow equipment from the Health Equipment Lending Program.

Our truck stops at a central business location and parks for an hour, allowing people to return items that they have borrowed, pick up items that they reserved in advance and donate no-longer-needed equipment.

The program provides short term loans of gently used medical equipment (things like wheelchairs, walkers, shower chairs, crutches, etc) to people need. A monetary donation for the loaned items is suggested, but not required.

If you, or someone you know, need to borrow home medical equipment, you can call Good News Project (715-843-5985) to find out more information. If you live in the Wausau Area you can pick up the items at the office, 1106 N 5th St.

Placing a wet phone in rice can sometimes help save it, but it can't save a demolished one. The good news? If you bring it on by for e-CYCLING, we can save the vast majority of its materials by responsibly recycling it for you.

Toasters, blenders, mixers, crock pots, pizza ovens, air fryers, waffle irons, food processors, pressure cookers, coffee grinders... the list of kitchen electronics we accept goes on and on! While we're unable to take full-size fridges or ovens, almost every other electronic device you could possibly have in your kitchen (or break room!) is welcome for e-CYCLING.

Do you have home medical items (things like wheelchairs, walkers, shower chairs, crutches, etc) that you are not using? Your equipment donation to Good News Project, will allow us to help others in your community.

The Health Equipment Lending Program at Good News Project in Wausau helps over 250 families each month borrow health equipment, through short-term loans, to make their lives easier!

You can bring your donations to our location in Wausau, 1106 N 5th St, or drop it off at any of the Mobile HELP Truck stops. (View attached schedule)

The Mobile HELP Truck also brings cleaned and sanitized equipment from Wausau to eleven communities two times each month. The truck will be out-and-about next week!

If you are interested in borrowing items, please call Good News Project to reserve them. 715-843-5985. If looking to have them brought to your community, this is a must to ensure that the items will be on the truck. A monetary donation for the loaned items is suggested, but not required.

If you have items out on loan, and want to return them, they can be returned at our Wausau location or to the truck as well.

Sharing is caring! Last Wednesday, our friends from Wisconsin Medical Project brought us some durable medical equipment we were low on and took back with them a box truck stuffed with walkers, crutches, and other health equipment we were fortunate enough to have surplus of. The equipment they took with them is destined for those in need in Liberia, Nigeria, and Côte d’Ivoire.
