Why did you choose to be a part of the State Council?
I choose to serve on the Wisconsin FFA Alumni & Supporters State Council because I believe in leading through service. I want to support our local affiliates, strengthen agricultural education across Wisconsin, and give back to an organization that has had a lasting impact on my life.
What is your favorite activity to participate in as an FFA Alumni and Supporters member - local, state, or national level?
My favorite activity as an FFA Alumni member is attending the Wisconsin State FFA Convention. It’s inspiring to see FFA members from all across the state gathered in one place. Seeing all of the blue jackets and witnessing the enthusiasm, leadership, and pride of our members is a reminder of the positive impact FFA has on so many lives.
Why should someone join their local FFA Alumni and Supporters Chapter?
Joining your local FFA Alumni & Supporters chapter is a great way to give back to the next generation of agricultural leaders. Whether you volunteer your time, share your experience, or support local events and scholarships, every member plays a role in helping students succeed and ensuring the future of agricultural education.
Who inspired your involvement in FFA/FFA Alumni and Supporters?
My involvement in FFA and FFA Alumni & Supporters was inspired by my love for animals, my passion for leadership and service, and the incredible mentorship of my FFA advisors, Nathaniel and Alexis Nolden. They encouraged me to step outside my comfort zone, take on leadership roles, and recognize the value of serving others. Their guidance, combined with the opportunities FFA provided, inspired me to stay involved beyond high school and continue supporting the next generation of FFA members through FFA Alumni & Supporters.
