The Trempealeau County Professional Police Association had the pleasure of hosting the Trempealeau County Sheriff's Office awards banquet at the Arcadia Country Club. We had a fantastic turn out to celebrate the outstanding accomplishments of the Deputies, Corrections Officers, and dispatchers of the Trempealeau County Sheriff's Office. A huge thank you to Sheriff Koxlien for presenting the awards and the WI State Patrol for sending their honor guard team to present the colors.

The WPPA #395 completed the gift handout this evening. We were joined by county staff, family and friends. We distributed cloths and toys to 168 kiddos who had been brought to attention. We spoke to a number of families who truly appreciated the assistance and told us that they hoped to be in a position to be on the giving side of the program moving forward. Our members and their families worked really hard to put this together. We have to thank the churchโ€™s and small businesses that spread the word and helped collect items. We left with all smiles when it was done. There are a very few gifts that did not get picked up, if you are one of them please contact us to make arrangements. It is our goal to get more invested in philanthropic projects. Please continue to watch our page for opportunities to support these goals. We care for our community and effort to make a difference when we can. Merry Christmas.

Thank you to everyone that has retrieved a tag off of the tree so far. We have some left so if you were wanting to help out, you still can.

For those that have already retrieved a tag, please return the gifts either unwrapped or in a gift bag. Please keep all of the gifts for one child together with the tag. There are bags to use to keep the gifts together near the drop box at the government center if needed.

Unfortunately due to the short turn around time that we have this year, we are no longer accepting anymore applications for children for this year's program. Sorry if there was anyone that we missed. Next year will be a much earlier start time.
