🍂Our inaugural Harvesting Hope event was an incredible success thanks to the camaraderie and generosity of our sponsors, volunteers, and guests! We are very grateful for all who joined us in supporting our future as a resource for all of Waunakee's community members.
🍂We are pleased to announce that after tallying all donations, the Harvesting Hope grand total came to...
$23,881!
🍂 We would like to especially thank...
💜Our special guest and Badgers legend Ron Dayne for meeting with VIP guests and sharing his insights on giving back to the Madison area community.
💜Our charismatic host Mike Heller, co-owner of Red & White Winebar in Waunakee and host of the sports podcast "I Love Mondays with Mike Heller."
💜Our wonderful volunteers, who helped with months of planning, shopping, and arranging decorations until perfectly placed, welcoming guests with friendly faces, keeping everyone hydrated, and efficient cleaning duties to ensure the evening ran smoothly.
💜Our rockin' entertainment - Birddog Blues Band - whose award-winning musicians kept the party going.
💜Our delicious dinner- pulled pork, brisket, chicken, our favorite sides, and a charcuterie table a mile long from Papa's BBQ kept us warm while multiple tasty flavors of ice cream from Lundy's made for a cool dessert. Cookie Monster seemed to be a favorite!
💜Our fantastic beverage partners - Red & White Winebar, Southern Italy Imports, Octopi Brewing, and Pepsi - ensured all of our guests had plenty of options to complement the dinner!
💜Our generous sponsors - we are incredibly grateful to these companies who helped cover all our expenses for the evening and allowed us to keep more of the funds raised to use towards our programming. Thank you for the support of our Waunakee community!
