The FOOD Pantry Serving Waukesha County

The FOOD Pantry Serving Waukesha County Day-to-day pantry operations are supported entirely by generous and dedicated volunteers. Volunteers deliver food to homebound clients.

The FOOD Pantry Serving Waukesha County provides food, hope, and dignity to county residents in need, and advocates to increase awareness of hunger through community partnerships. The Food Pantry is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and works closely with the Hunger Task Force in Milwaukee and the Waukesha County Nutrition Coalition. A small staff provides oversight to all aspects of fund

and food-raising efforts, fiduciary responsibilities, donor database management, volunteer recruitment and coordination, and administration of government food programs, as well as food purchasing, inventory and safety regulations.

Thank You, Waukesha State Bank, for Your Generous Support!

For decades, Waukesha State Bank has been more than our financial institution—they have been a dedicated community partner committed to helping neighbors in need. Today, we are incredibly grateful for their generous $75,000 commitment to The FOOD Pantry’s No Neighbor Hungry Capital Campaign.

This investment comes at a critical time. As food insecurity has grown in our community, The FOOD Pantry’s current facility has struggled to keep pace with the increasing number of clients. Families often wait outside in harsh weather, parking is limited, storage space is inadequate, and food deliveries have outgrown our building’s capabilities.

Thanks to the extraordinary support of generous partners like Waukesha State Bank, we are creating a new home for The FOOD Pantry that will better serve our community today and for years to come.

“At Waukesha State Bank, supporting our community means standing beside organizations like The FOOD Pantry that care for our neighbors every day. No one in Waukesha County should have to worry about where their next meal is coming from, and we’re honored to support the ‘No Neighbor Hungry’ campaign as The FOOD Pantry expands its ability to serve our community with compassion, dignity, and care.”- Stephanie Ohlfs, Senior Vice President – Marketing Director, Waukesha State Bank

Thank you, Waukesha State Bank, for your longtime partnership and for helping ensure that no neighbor goes hungry.

“Mary, Mary, quite contrary, how does your garden grow?”

Hopefully with lots (and lots) of zucchinis!

If your garden has been a little too generous this season, we’d love to take those extra fruits and veggies off your hands. YES — we absolutely accept fresh produce donations! Our drop-off hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM. Come to Door #5 (look for the orange awning!)

Thank you to all our amazing gardeners who help nourish our community — one tomato, zucchini, and cucumber at a time.

We extend our sincerest gratitude to the Waukesha Rotary for their ongoing commitment to supporting The FOOD Pantry! 💙

Last week, we were honored to receive a generous $4,000 grant from the Waukesha Rotary, dedicated to supporting our youngest clients. This funding will enable us to provide essential diapers and wipes to families with children under the age of 4, alleviating a significant strain on household budgets and ensuring local families have access to the necessary supplies for their children's health, comfort, and well-being.

Furthermore, we appreciated the opportunity to collaborate with Waukesha Rotary members this past Tuesday, as they assisted us in sorting recent food donations. Their support has enabled us to expedite the process of stocking our shelves, making these essential items available to our clients more quickly.

We express our deepest appreciation to the Waukesha Rotary and its members for their dedication to our community.

🌱💚 A huge thank you to Eaton for the continued success of the Garden of Eaton!

The Garden of Eaton is already thriving this season, with more than 70 pounds of fresh vegetables harvested and donated to The FOOD Pantry so far this year. Thanks to Eaton's commitment to fighting hunger in our community, clients are receiving fresh, nutritious produce throughout the growing season.

We're especially excited about the addition of 10 new vegetable beds, which means even more fresh produce will be available for individuals and families who rely on The FOOD Pantry.

Do you have a garden at home? We'd love your help, too! If you find yourself with extra fruits or vegetables this season, consider donating your surplus harvest to The FOOD Pantry. Every donation helps provide healthy food options for our neighbors in need. Your garden donations can be dropped off at 1301 Sentry Drive from 8:30 am-4:30 pm Monday through Friday and Saturday from 9:30 am-11:30 am.

Thank you, Eaton, for helping grow a stronger, healthier Waukesha County! 🌿🥕🍅

🎉 Transformational Gift Advances The FOOD Pantry's Future 🎉

We are thrilled to announce a generous $250,000 donation from First Presbyterian Church of Waukesha in support of The FOOD Pantry's No Neighbor Hungry Capital Campaign.

This remarkable investment brings us one step closer to transforming our newly purchased building into a purpose-designed food pantry—creating a welcoming, dignified, and efficient space to serve the growing numbers of individuals and families facing food insecurity throughout our community.

The support of First Presbyterian Church of Waukesha reflects a shared commitment to ensuring that everyone has access to nutritious food and compassionate care when they need it most. According to Andrew Byshenk - Clerk of Session for First Presbyterian Church:

"First Presbyterian Church has been faithfully serving the people of Waukesha for 180 years. This donation is a way to use our resources to meet the church's mission to feed the hungry and to love our neighbor. Our appreciation goes out to all who help The Food Pantry Serving Waukesha County succeed. We are grateful that our church has been blessed to be able to contribute to our community in this way."

We are deeply grateful for this leadership gift and the partnership of First Presbyterian Church as we work together to build a stronger, healthier community for generations to come.
