The FOOD Pantry extends our sincere thanks to Waukesha County Health and Human Services for hosting the Discover & Do Spectacular last night and bringing together so many valuable community resources.

Our Client Services team enjoyed connecting with community members, sharing information about how individuals and families can access The FOOD Pantry’s programs and services, providing volunteer opportunities, and distributing resources to those seeking support. We also appreciated the opportunity to network and collaborate with other community providers dedicated to serving our neighbors.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table, and to Waukesha County Health and Human Services for creating such a meaningful event that helps strengthen connections throughout our community. 💙

A heartfelt thank you to Good Harvest Market and Hop Harvest & Vine for supporting The FOOD Pantry through a special concert on Thursday, October 22, featuring our very own volunteer, Bert Kreitlow, performing with The Lost Souls!

We are grateful that 30% of all food and beverage sales from the event were donated to support our mission of providing food to neighbors in need. Community partnerships like this make a real difference in helping us serve local families.

Couldn't make it to the concert? There's still time to help! Through Saturday, October 31, Good Harvest Market and Hop Harvest & Vine is offering customers the opportunity to round up their purchase at the register, with proceeds benefiting The FOOD Pantry.

The FOOD Pantry was pleased to attend the Oconomowoc Area Foundation (OAF) Annual Celebration and Grant Announcements on Friday, October 23, at Weissgerber's Golden Mast.

We are grateful for the opportunity to share our mission and the growing need for food assistance in our community. We are especially thankful to receive a grant from the Oconomowoc Area Foundation (OAF) that will support the purchase of perishable foods, allowing us to provide dairy products and other nutritious items to our clients throughout the coming year.

Our Community Is Raising Their Hands 💙

The No Neighbor Hungry capital campaign continues to move forward and we’re excited to share that more than 280 people have now raised their hands to support this effort! 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️

We now have less than $1.73 million left to raise to complete the campaign and bring our vision for our new home at 1705 S. Prairie Avenue to life.

But this campaign isn’t just about reaching a fundraising goal. It’s about bringing our entire community together around a shared vision for a stronger future for The FOOD Pantry Serving Waukesha County and the neighbors we serve.

We are incredibly grateful to have a dedicated Community Outreach Committee working hard to identify creative ways for everyone in our community to be part of this campaign. And they’re already making things happen!

Here are just a few of the ways our community is coming together:

☕️ Mama D's Coffee in Wales and Waukesha is supporting the campaign by donating 15% of their sales on October 30, 31 and November 1.

🍽️ November 4: Mayor’s Restaurant (229 Wisconsin Ave, Waukesha) will host their Dine & Donate Night, where 15% of proceeds will support The FOOD Pantry. They'll also be hosting a food drive, giving you another opportunity to help local families in need.

🥣 November 10: Stop by Panera Bread in Delafield, where 25% of sales will support The FOOD Pantry between 4:00-8:00pm.

🌯 December 14: Dine at Chipotle Mexican Grill n Pewaukee and 25% of evening sales will support The FOOD Pantry. Use code G9KAAT if ordering online.

🚗 Wilde Subaru recently wrapped up an incredible give-back event where customers who donated three nonperishable food items received $10 off an oil change and Wilde Subaru donated an additional $5 toward the campaign for every qualifying oil change. We’re grateful for their generosity and their commitment to our community!

These events are a wonderful reminder that there isn’t just one way to support No Neighbor Hungry. You can attend an event, make a gift, introduce someone to our campaign, host a fundraiser, donate goods, or simply help spread the word.

Every raised hand matters. Every act of support brings us one step closer.

To the more than 280 people who have already raised their hands, and to the businesses, organizations, volunteers, and community members finding new ways to help — thank you. 💙

A huge thank you to Faith Springs Presbyterian Church and Silgan Containers for volunteering at The FOOD Pantry! 🎉

Their teams recently spent time helping sort and organize the incredible food donations collected through the Kettle Moraine School District DECA Food Drive. Thanks to their hard work and dedication, thousands of pounds of donated food will be ready to help local families facing food insecurity.

We are so grateful for community partners like Faith Springs Presbyterian Church and Silgan Containers who give their time and energy to support our mission. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of our neighbors in need.

We're always inspired by the dedication of young community leaders who step up to make a difference for our neighbors facing food insecurity.

A huge thank you to Joshua Botsch for supporting The FOOD Pantry through his Eagle Scout project! Joshua organized a food drive in partnership with a local church Waukesha County Communications, collecting an incredible 664 pounds of food for our pantry.

His hard work, leadership, and commitment to serving others will help provide nutritious food to local individuals and families in need. We are grateful for Joshua's efforts and the support of everyone who donated to make this project such a success.
