Homenetmen Boston Chapter The Armenian General Athletic Union and Scouts known as HOMENETMEN, is a non-profit organization which was founded over 100 years ago in Constantinople

Through the years, Homenetmen has strived to develop the moral character of young Armenians so that they will be able to survive in solidarity and harmony with Armenians and non-Armenians alike. The terrific success of the scouting and athletic activities is in part due to the continual moral and financial support of dedicated members, who have been in instrumental in organizing and raising funds for exiting and new programs. Today, thanks to this effort, Homenetmen continues to grow. The ever increasing challenges of contemporary society indicate that, now more than ever, Homenetmen's commitment to excellence must be shared by each and every one of us.

This past Saturday, we had a great scouting day!

Our Kaylig, Ardzvig, and Gagoughtatig groups:
⚜️Learned about why we call each other kouyr and yeghpayr
⚜️The meaning of badveeyar
⚜️Reviewed and learned new ganches
⚜️Engaged in scouting games
⚜️Learned the meaning behind the colors of the Armenian flag
⚜️Reviewed the Boston chapter rules

Our Ari/Arenoushes:
⚜️Had a lecture about the foundation of scouting
⚜️Drew out the scouts logo and labeled it
⚜️Learned aryunod trosh

Welcome back Homenetmen Boston Scouts! We are so excited to have you back 😊 On our first day, we reviewed some of our ganches (chants) and tavanks (rules) of the year! Then, each our groups split up, did icebreakers and fun activities😊 Stay tuned for all the great things we have in store this year!
