We are happy to present the Boston premiere of Gate to Heaven, a film by Jivan Avetisyan, on Sunday October 10, 2021 at 2:30pmat the West Newton Cinema.

Dear Hamazkayin Boston members and supporters,

As part of Hamazkayin’s dedication to culture and education, we are proud to offer a new virtual opportunity for members of our Boston community:

Beyond the celebration of our culture, supported through panels, performances and social events alike, we believe in the value of education, both as a way to help our community thrive and as a source of future opportunities for individual members.
In particular, we recognize that our culture and education lie not just in the commemoration and creativity of our arts and literature, but in our innovation in math and science as well.

As such, we are now offering pro bono tutoring in math and physics once a week, on Sundays. Our volunteers are professional tutors with engineering degrees and physics PhDs, qualified to teach subjects ranging from middle school- through college-level courses. Depending on students’ needs, sessions will take the form of answering topic-specific questions, supporting individual classwork and research, and/or teaching common subjects in a group setting.

Please fill out the informational survey below by March 21st! Based on the responses, we will follow up with you regarding scheduling time slots for individual students, aiming to accommodate all interested members and tailoring to each individual’s needs.
