Here's something heartwarming for a Monday morning ♥️. Sometimes we learn about kids under some very special circumstances that come with a unique ask that is outside of what we are usually able to accommodate. We had about 6 weeks to try to find a solution for Isaiah's 10th birthday and it wasn't looking like it was going to happen but then it all came together! A HUGE THANK YOU to Mitchell at Trek Bicycle who became our internal champion and Kate at the East Side Trek Store who secured the bike to donate and had it assembled in time for it to be picked up. Lastly, thanks to Amy, the social worker who made the referral and did the work to get the bike to the party! We did see a picture of Isaiah which we've opted to keep private and we're here to tell you that he looked SO HAPPY! While we aren't able to do something like this for most kids, we were happy this worked out.
