To everyone who joined us Friday — thank you. ❤️‍🩹

Every donation, every sponsor, every golfer, every bidder, every volunteer, and every single person working behind the scenes made this day possible.

This day will always be one of the hardest and best days of the year for us. Such a double-edged sword …wishing with everything in us that we didn’t have a reason to gather like this, while also feeling so incredibly grateful to look around and see hundreds of people showing up for Weston, for us, and for the families we’re able to help because of him.

We haven’t even had a chance to sit down and count the totals yet, but we promise we’ll share just how BIG you all showed up for us once we do. 🤍

This has always been a 5-year plan for us to continue growing and sharing our mission through this golf memorial. So mark your calendars now — August 20th, 2027 — YEAR FOUR! ⛳️⚡️

And as for Year 5… we definitely have something very special planned. We got a pretty big nudge from our little man that when the time comes, we need to GO BIG for him. 😉⚡️

Thank you for helping these families. Thank you for helping us. Thank you for continuing to say Weston’s name, honor his life, believe in this mission, and be some of our biggest supporters.

Tomorrow is for you, Wessy Boy. ⚡️⚡️

All of these people are showing up for you and in your honor. Our auction tables are maxed out, the course will be full, and our hearts are incredibly heavy—but also overwhelmed with joy, love, and gratitude.

Tomorrow is our biggest day of the year. The one day that helps us keep going all year long, supporting families who are forced to walk this child-loss journey.

The one day where everyone rallies around you, says your name, celebrates your life, and shows up in your honor ALL. DAY. LONG. ⚡️

We are so proud to be your parents, Wessy. We’re proud of the life you lived, the love you left behind, and the way you continue to guide us toward helping other families.

We miss you more than words could ever explain. And while tomorrow will be beautiful, there will always be the part of us that knows it’s just not fair. We shouldn’t have to do any of this because you should still be here.

But since we can’t change that, we’ll keep saying your name. We’ll keep showing up. We’ll keep helping families. And tomorrow, we’ll make you proud. ⚡️❤️‍🩹

This year, we’re honored to welcome special guest speakers Nicole and Tarrence, Diderik’s mom and dad.

They’ll be sharing their family’s journey through the loss of their son, Diderik, and speaking from the perspective of bereaved parents. Their hope is to help educate our community on how to show up for a friend, coworker, family member, or acquaintance navigating the unimaginable loss of a child. Their story is one of heartbreak, hope, and the power of feeling seen and supported.
