⚽️🎗️ Playing for a Purpose 🎗️⚽️

Our Varsity Soccer teams hosted their annual Cancer Awareness Games this past month, coming together to support those in our community who are fighting cancer.
Thanks to the generosity of our players, families, fans, and community, we were proud to donate the funds raised to the NYOH Community Cancer Foundation.
What makes this organization so special is that these funds stay right here in our local community, helping individuals and families with the everyday expenses that don’t stop during cancer treatment . things like mortgage or rent payments, groceries, gas, utilities, and other non-medical expenses.
The goal is simple: help ease some of the financial burden so patients and their families can focus their energy where it matters most, on fighting, healing, and being together.
We are incredibly proud of our Boys and Girls Varsity Soccer programs and everyone who helped make these games a success. Thank you for showing once again what it means to be a Fordian and to take care of our community.

🏐Volleyball Skills and Drills Camp🏐

The Fordians week-long Volleyball Skills and Drills Camp was a great success, with 29 girls in grades 4–6 participating! Throughout the week, the girls worked with Coach Sowle, Coach T, and our varsity volleyball players to develop their volleyball skills.
They learned and practiced the fundamentals of passing, setting, hitting, and serving, while also gaining a better understanding of the rules of the game.
The week was filled with learning, teamwork, fun, and it all came to an exciting end with a volleyball match. The match allowed the girls an opportunity to put their new skills into action. It was a wonderful week of building confidence, developing skills, and growing a love for the game of volleyball!

A huge thank-you to Coach Sowle, Coach T and our varsity volleyball players for sharing their time, knowledge, and passion for the game with our young athletes. Their encouragement and support helped make this camp a memorable experience for everyone involved. We are also grateful to all the girls who participated and brought such great energy and enthusiasm to the gym each day. We look forward to seeing these young athletes continue to grow, build confidence, and develop their love for volleyball! ❤️🤍🖤🏐
