At the end of the sale of the CCHS porcelain ornaments a couple of years ago, a few of you reached out wanting to purchase one and they were sold out. The Lansingburgh Historical Society sold several beautiful stained glass skylights from the old Lansingburgh High School several years ago. Recently, a generous friend and longtime member of the Society donated one back to us. This is your opportunity to purchase a beautiful historic piece of the Burgh’s past. There's still time to register for "Haunted Tales from the Crow's Wood", happening 6:30PM-8:00PM on Saturday, October 17th.

Join us around the campfire for an evening of specters, strange tales, and portents of doom! We'll be telling local legends and other spooky stories inspired by the 17th and 18th century colonists of the Hudson River Valley.

Free c***r and donuts will be available for you to enjoy. Bring lawn chairs and dress for the outdoors. The faint of heart are invited to paint spooky pumpkins.

Looking for something fun and interesting to do on Saturday, October 10,2026? Tour the Herman Melville House at 2 114th St, Troy,NY. The House will be open from 10 am to 2 pm. This is our last Open House for this year.
If your a Burgh kid and didn’t get this years Bijou ornament, you can pick one up for only $20. Have you seen the prices of Hallmark ornaments, $20 is a steal for a porcelain ornament with an original painting by a Burgh resident sure to stir up some pleasant memories of Saturday afternoon at the movies.
Your $5 donation helps the Lansingburgh Historical Society maintain this 1786 house.
