A majority of the time, non hunters do not associate hunting with conservation.

We as a hunting community need to continue educating others of the amount of time and money that hunters contribute to conservation.

Majority of hunters respect the animals and work towards improving habitat while also purchasing hunting licenses that fund conservation.

‼️Hunters supporting Veterans‼️

Our chapter’s Secretary and Veteran Liaison, Mark Rudewicz, visited the Newington VA hospital today, providing therapeutic dog cuddles and spreading awareness of Delta Waterfowl to the patients and staff members present.

To revitalize to America’s public lands for ducks and duck hunters, Delta Waterfowl launched its Restoring Our Refuges initiative late last year.

Across the country, national wildlife refuges — once the gold standard for waterfowl habitat — are struggling with reduced funding, staffing shortages, and aging infrastructure. The result is declining habitat quality and fewer opportunities for hunters.

Restoring Our Refuges is Delta’s plan to increase funding, improve habitat management, and rebuild critical infrastructure through strategic advocacy efforts.

Because restored refuges mean healthier habitat, stronger migrations, and better days in the blind.
