Can you help us raise $300 by 10/21? We have an unparalleled opportunity that has given us access to a large amount of warm clothing, classroom supplies, furniture, and more. It is our plan to distribute these items families in our community who are in need and to share with other local organizations who also serve our community.
WHAT DO WE NEED TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN? We need to rent a truck this Wednesday 10/21 to pick up as much as possible and bring it back to Wassaic. We can drive the truck, but we need the money to rent the truck. The rental isn't that much, but the mileage and the gas is making this trip costly. If we receive more than we need, we will arrange an additional date.

Do we have any families in need of furniture? We have access to quite a bit of furniture, however it is in Westchester. If you are in need and you can get to Westchester (Somers) to pick up, please let us know.

Calling all fiber artists! Are you looking for a community project? We are looking for knitters, crocheters, and fiber artists who would be willing to make warm wearables that we can distribute to families in need. Need yarn? We have skeins of sport weight (2), DK weight (3), and some worsted weight (4) available for those who can help us. Size newborn/baby through adult; men's, women's, and neutral. We welcome finished projects of:
Hats
Gloves
Mittens
Blankets
Scarves
Ear warmers
Sweaters, vests
Baby items
Etc..
Yarn can be picked up in Wassaic. Let us know what you're making and how much your patterns need and we will see what we have. Let's keep our neighbors warm ❤️

We are selling these cute little pumpkins as a fundraiser for our organization and our programs. They are 2" wide and approx 2.5" tall to the top of the stem, and they are available as a pin or keychain. Hand crafted locally in Wassaic and only $5 ea donation.
