Mya is a recent mom to a litter of seven, and she did a fantastic job raising her babies. Now, it is her turn to find a forever home and enjoy a life of pampering.

She is a spayed, 3-year-old, medium-sized hound mix who is both house and crate trained. Mya gets along well with the other dogs and cats in her foster home. She is playful, young at heart, comfortably past the puppy stage, and enjoys simply being near her people. She also loves roaming the yard, watching the world go by, and is excellent at catching a ball.

NOT ONE APPLICATION FOR THESE TWO!!

Goby and Noony are last of our Bubble Guppies litter to still be searching for a family. These nine week old pups are happy and social. They are dog and kid friendly. They also won’t mind kitties at this age. Mom is Mya who is a Hound mix about 35 pounds. These boys will be medium in size when fully grown. Meet Destiny!

Destiny is about 4 years old and is one of our sweet “mud puppies.” She came from horrible living conditions and is slowly learning that she can trust people and feel safe. Destiny loves other dogs and doesn’t mind cats at all! She does well with kids, too. She is crate trained and housebroken, and she’s working on her leash manners — doing great so far!

One of the sweetest things about Destiny’s journey is watching her learn what it’s like to simply be a dog. She’s finally starting to relax on the couch, play with toys, and enjoy the little things that every dog deserves to experience.

Destiny has been through so much, but she’s showing us more of her personality every day. She deserves a home filled with patience, kindness, and love — a place where she can continue to blossom and learn that she’s finally safe.

Last weekend we held our fall Bow Wow BINGO and was a sell out! We wanted to take a moment to give a shout out to our sponsors for this event. We appreciate you helping us make this event successful. We would also like to thank our supporters for donating baskets, liquor and bake sale items. We hope everyone enjoyed a fun afternoon playing bingo and supporting the pups. We could not do this without all of you!

The bingo is one of our big fundraisers that helps us cover medical bills we have throughout the year. This year alone, so far we have spent $250,000.00 for medical cases. We have been able to give second chances to many dogs with the help of our supporters and fundraisers.

We are working on our bingos for next spring and fall along with a few other events. Keep an eye on the website and our social media pages for upcoming events and ways to support us.

It’s that time of the year again. We are getting ready for our annual trip to the nursing home. Each year we visit the residents along with our foster dogs. Each resident gets a goodie bag that includes toiletries and other items. With more than 200 residents we could use a little bit of help from our followers. Phoenix is one of our “Mud Puppies”. Before a Good Samaritan stepped up to help him and his siblings he lived in mud, outside in all weather. Phoenix has made leaps and bounds in his foster home and at just one year old he’s young enough to overcome the terrible conditions he lived in. Phoenix is learning trust and love in his foster home. He loves other dogs and would do well with another confident dog. He would do good as the only dog also. We are unsure if Phoenix is cat friendly. He is working on going potty outside and doing great. Phoenix needs someone who will help him to be the pup he wants to be. Phoenix is a one year Spaniel mix who is around 30 pounds.
