The end of Water Safety Month does NOT mean the end of water safety! 🌊

Check out this demo of "Throw, Don't Go," a method you can use to help someone drowning without placing yourself in danger.

🦭 Lie down on your belly
🐬 Reach a long object toward the person who needs help
🏊‍♀️ Once the person grabs the object, pull them (via the object) toward the side of the pool

Ready to learn to swim so you can keep yourself and others safe in the pool? We have summer classes coming up for adults and kids! Registration starts in just a few weeks at edcjcc.org/aquatics

Did you know? 👀

In partnership with the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington and the Lieberman Fellowship, the EDCJCC has spent the last year looking at the inclusion and accessibility initiatives within our programs.

We know this work is not done, and we will always continue to look for ways to improve these services, but for now we happily and eagerly offer the following accommodations for every member of our community.
