¡𝗙𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘇 𝗠𝗲𝘀 𝗱𝗲 𝗹𝗮 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮 𝗛𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗮!

¡Happy Hispanic Heritage Month!
Nearly one in every five people in the United States traces their roots to Spain, Mexico, Central America, South America, or the Spanish-speaking Caribbean.
That's more than 65 million stories.
At 𝗠𝗦𝗦𝗣𝗔 , we don't have to look far to understand what that means.
We see it every morning when a provider opens the door of her home to educate and care for other families' children. In the songs she sings in Spanish so that a child doesn't lose their language, and others can learn it. In the small businesses that keep DC's neighborhoods alive.
Since 2013, we have had the honor of walking alongside more than 1,500 Latina and Hispanic educators and directors in DC, mostly women, mostly entrepreneurs, all essential. They are living proof that Hispanic heritage is not just history. 𝗜𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆.
If you are one of them: Thank you. Your language is justice. Your work is dignity. Your labor is the future.
