Good morning. It's a breezy & cool morning across the area. Current temperatures around the area are in the low 50s. Most of the rainfall has now moved east of the area. A mix of sun and clouds are expected today with breezy and gusty winds at times with highs in the upper 50s. So, if you're not a fan of the chilly weather you'll want to grab a light jacket on the way out the door this morning.

Tonight: Partly to mostly clear skies expected with much cooler overnight temperatures in the mid to upper 30s.

A Slight Risk for severe thunderstorms covers a small portion across northwestern Arkansas in Arkansas and Missouri today. Within the Slight Risk, tornado less than 2%, damaging wind up to 15%, and large hail less than 5%. A Marginal Risk covers parts across western Arkansas and southern Missouri, with tornado less than 2%, damaging wind up to 5%, and large hail less than 5%.

A Flood Watch has been updated for portions of southeast Kansas, including Bourbon, Cherokee and Crawford, and for Missouri, including Barton, Benton, Camden, Cedar, Dade, Dallas, Hickory, Jasper, Miller, Morgan, Polk, St. Clair and Vernon. Flooding from excessive rainfall remains possible through Thursday afternoon, with 1 to 2 inches more possible and localized up to 3 inches. Watch for flooded low-water crossings and poor-drainage areas.
