Hello friends. On Wednesday we had the honor of attending the check ceremony for Warren Gives. We want to take this opportunity to tell you your generosity has overwhelmed us. We increased our total donation amount (with the percentage of matching dollars included), by over $2000 this year. We received $12,414 thanks to your donations and dedication to our cause. While there were others that received more, what we are most proud of is that we finished in the top 10 in the number of donations out of 112 organizations. This tells us we have many amazing supporters, and for that we are eternally grateful. You are the reason we work to provide the services we do for our active duty military, reservists and veterans. You are fantastic and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support.❤️

We would like to extend a very special thank you to these young men for volunteering their time to help us package up gift bags! It takes a village to tackle all the jobs that need accomplished to help keep these wheels turning, and our youth are often included in these tasks. It warms our heart to see younger ones join in and volunteering, no matter the cause. Thank you, Carson and Tristan!! We appreciate you!! 👏🇺🇸😍

We recently held a Graduation Banquet for this year's graduating seniors who have enlisted with the US Military. 🇺🇸 We were honored to meet and personally extend our appreciation to these courageous young men and women, honoring them and their oath to become fighters for our great nation. Senator Scott Hutchinson and Representative Kathy Rapp were in attendance and spoke to these new recruits and their familes, reminding them how important their new journey in life will be, and that this little community will be holding them in prayer while they embark on this next adventure.

Did you know Warren County has the highest number of veterans per capita in all of PA? We want to share our deepest gratitude to this year's graduating seniors who have decided to help keep this tradition alive. We also want to thank their parents and/or guardians for raising children brave enough to be part of the 1% willing to fight for our freedoms.❤️ Job well done!

Last Thursday, our inaugural Memorial Day Ceremony took place at General Joseph Warren Park. A poignant moment unfolded as the Clouse Trio performed "America the Beautiful" while a bald eagle soared overhead 🦅, leaving many attendees visibly moved and tearful. The evening served as a fitting tribute to our local heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for our great nation.

Special thanks are extended to the Clouse Trio for their stirring performances of patriotic songs, Representative Kathy Rapp for her insightful remarks about General Joseph Warren, and the numerous volunteers who assisted in lighting candles in honor of Warren County's fallen heroes.

Today, as we celebrate the day with Parties and cookouts let us all remember that Memorial Day is a day set aside to remember the brave men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country — the ones who did not make it home.

Because of them, we live in freedom. Because of them, families carry an empty chair, an empty uniform, and a name that will never be forgotten.

May we always remember the Gold Star Families that live with a deep loss EVERY SINGLE DAY.

At 3:00 PM, we ask everyone to stop and pause for a moment of remembrance. Wherever you are, take that moment to honor those who gave everything for the freedoms we hold dear.

May we always remember. May we always speak their names. May we always honor our Fallen. 🇺🇸
