There is hopeful progress happening in our community. 💙

Overdose deaths in Trumbull County have continued to decline for the third straight year—a reflection of the ongoing work being done through prevention efforts, expanded treatment access, Narcan distribution, education, and strong community partnerships.

In this recent WFMJ article, our very own Lauren Thorpe, Associate Director of the Trumbull County Mental Health and Recovery Board, shares how collaboration across our community continues to make a meaningful impact in saving lives and supporting recovery.

What an incredible day at the ASAP 2026 Drug Summit. ♥️ We are beyond grateful to everyone who attended, presented, sponsored, volunteered, and helped make this event such a meaningful success. From powerful conversations and educational breakout sessions to moments of connection, reflection, and inspiration—this year’s summit brought together professionals, advocates, providers, educators, and community members all united by one goal: creating healthier, stronger communities through prevention, education, recovery, and support.

A heartfelt thank you to our keynote speaker, Dr. Nicole Labor, for sharing her knowledge, passion, and advocacy in such an impactful way. Thank you as well to all of our breakout session presenters for bringing insight, honesty, and important conversations to the forefront.
