Area Agency on Aging 11 Area Agency on Aging 11 manages care for residents 60 and older in Ashtabula, Columbiana, Mahoning and Trumbull counties.

We fund agencies with federal, state and local money to provide direct services to seniors. We also have care managers to oversee care plans and services for our consumers. Free in-home assessments are done by a nurse or social worker to provide home services as an alternative to nursing home placement or to link consumers with services in the community. Our quality and monitoring division oversee

s more than 140 providers to assure that money is being used efficiently and services are being provided. While most of our services are for older adults, some of our programs also assist adults 18 and older, including Home Choice and Assisted Living.
