These dogs need you the most! ❤️‍🩹 Everybody always says, “Fostering saves lives” and it’s TRUE! The boys and girls included in this post desperately need foster homes. Surgeries, HW treatment, kennel decline — they need out and they need out ASAP.

While fostering, everything is included. Food, crates, water dishes, you name it. You supply the loving home, we supply the rest! 🏡

If you’re not in the place for a permanent resident, PLEASE consider fostering. It is so rewarding getting to help these dogs. 🫶🏻

👶🏼 Forest and John, two 18 week old rascals looking for families! These guys are in foster with one of our volunteers and they’re doing great ✨ on all things dog. They’re working EXTRA hard at learning to potty outside and learning a crate is a safe space that makes for the very best sleeps. 😴 They know how to sit and are working on their leash manners. These yahoos are loving little dudes and we KNOW they’ll make a family so happy here soon! 🥰 Any takers?! How can you resist those ears and those eyes?!

Forest has the ears, John is black with the white spot. They’re dog, kid, cat, everything friendly!

💔BUTCH HAS SUFFERED ENOUGH!💔

Can you imagine living your entire life struggling to eat? Never enjoying a meal without pain or the fear of something going terribly wrong? That’s been Butch’s reality.

This poor 1½-year-old, 12-pound boy came to I Heart Dogs after being rescued from a horrible situation with a lot of animals, many in terrible condition.

We had no idea he had serious medical issues until we took him for his intake vet visit. Butch has a massive hole in the roof of his mouth, a severe cleft palate and his adult teeth have actually grown into the opening. Every time he eats, food enters his nasal cavity, putting him at risk of choking, aspiration and life-threatening infections. This is no way to live and especially not in a shelter.

We honestly don’t know how this little boy survived.

💔 NOW HE NEEDS US! His surgery is coming up, with an estimated cost of $2,000+. We desperately need donations to cover his medical care. He also needs a foster home where he can safely recover. We provide everything. We just need someone to open their home.

You might remember this girl. Miss Bailey is now up for adoption! 🥳 B has come A LONG way and we can’t wait to see her in her furever home.

Bailey is a shy girl who is learning that people are not all scary and the world can be a happy place full of lots of sniffs and lots of treats. 🥓 Men and loud noises are the scariest for Bailey, which happens when her life before rescue was far from perfect.

Bailey MUST HAVE a fenced in yard, preferably a privacy fence with supervised yard time. She knows how to climb fences when she’s scared. Her fight or flight response will always be flight. She’s a lover, not a fighter. ❤️

She would prefer a home with no car rides (unless required), a quiet back yard, and an extra plush dog bed (or couch). 👑 This girl deserves it all. Bailey is 6️⃣ years old, 55 lbs., and dog and kid friendly. She is shy at first but never has she shown any signs of aggression. We’ll even fill you in on her fav treats if you schedule a meet. 😜

👧 We do not keep a child at the haven to test the dogs with. If we happen to know they’re kid-friendly, we will absolutely include it.
🏡 It’s tough for us to know if our pooches are house-trained when they…don’t live in a home.

🤯WHY IS NO ONE SNATCHING UP OUR FAVORITE GIRL, DARLA?! 🤯

This little girl is TINY, FUN, and SO lovable! Just 29 pounds and 3 years old, she's got a whole lot of personality packed into one little package.

Darla is dog friendly, loves squeaky toys, thinks pup cups are the best thing ever, and is always up for an adventure. She's got energy to burn and would LOVE an active family who wants a little sidekick to do life with.

She's also done great in a foster home, with wonderful crate manners and nearly perfect potty training!

We honestly don't understand how this girl is still waiting. She's SO much fun, and we just know someone's missing out on their new best friend.

💔 BARRON NEEDS SURGERY AND A PLACE TO RECOVER. 💔

This little boy has been through so much, and we desperately need your help.

For WEEKS, Barron was seen running around with a broken leg. Week after week, this tiny dog was out there injured, trying to survive. It took weeks before Animal Control was finally able to capture him and get him the help he desperately needed.

We thought things were finally looking up. The animal hospital was hopeful that his leg could heal with a splint. But sadly, things haven't gone as planned. His leg is getting worse, and the injury is now infected.

Tomorrow, Barron is going in for ONE FINAL ATTEMPT TO SAVE HIS LEG.

He will undergo surgery to remove the infected tissue, receive a bone graft, and have a plate placed in his leg. If this doesn't work, amputation will likely be his only option.

After months of suffering with a broken leg and trying to heal, this boy deserves a break. He deserves to run and play without pain, to curl up in a soft bed, and to finally know what it's like to be someone's cherished family member. 💔

🧡 SILAS HAS ONE MONTH. WE NEED YOUR HELP! 🧡
PLEASE SHARE, SHARE, SHARE!!!

We have just ONE MONTH to find Silas either a forever home or a new foster home. His current foster is moving, and when they do, Silas will need somewhere to go.

We would LOVE nothing more than for this sweet boy to go straight from his foster home into a family of his own. But if adoption isn't in the cards right now, a new foster would be just as wonderful because this sweet boy shuts down in the shelter. It is a very scary place for him and it's heartbreaking to see him shaking in the corner of his kennel.

And according to his foster, he's been an absolute DREAM to have around. He's the perfect mix of playful and chill! He's happy hanging out in his crate, going for a walk, or playing a little ball in the yard. He's a champion sleeper, potty trained, and has wonderful house manners.

Honestly, Silas sounds like the kind of roommate everyone wants! 😂 He's just happy being with his people, whether that's enjoying some activity or relaxing at home.

Silas is dog selective and would likely do best as the only dog in the home.

Please help us make sure his next move is into a forever home, not back into a shelter kennel. Can you open your home to Silas? ❤️

🥹 THIS SWEET GIRL IS STILL WAITING! 🥹

Seriously, what is it going to take to get Nevada HOME?! We keep telling you how wonderful she is, and we’re going to keep telling you until someone finally scoops this girl up! ❤️

Nevada is a 5.5-year-old Akita with so much love to give. She’s sweet, gentle, super smart, house-trained & loves going for car rides. She’d prefer a home with kids over 12 and no pets even though she is not reactive with dogs on walks we think she would prefer not to share the love!

SOMEONE PLEASE ADOPT THIS GIRL! She deserves a couch, a family, and a lifetime of being someone’s very best friend. 🏡💕
