🐾 8 LITTLE EXPLORERS ARE READY FOR ADVENTURE! 🐾

These little faces have an important announcement to make… they’re 10 weeks old and ready to get out of the kennel and into the world! 🎉❤️

Crystal, Forest, John, Moro, Rock, Sherman, Tokopah & Visalia are curious little pups who are ready to sniff ALL the things, chase ALL the toys, learn ALL the puppy lessons, and give ALL the kisses. 😍🐶

They’re sweet, lovable, playful, and curious, and at this age, there is a whole big world waiting for them to discover. They’re ready for grass under their paws, toys scattered across the living room, puppy zoomies, naps in cozy beds, and a family to grow up with. 🏡💕

Their momma, Sequoia, is a petite little lady at just 29 pounds, so these babies may stay on the smaller side.

Now they just need one thing… YOU! 🥰

🐾 Our First Picnic with a Purpose was a GREAT success! 🐾

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out to support I Heart Dogs Rescue & Animal Haven! We had such a wonderful time, and we hope you did too! ❤️

Our dogs got to enjoy an adventure outside the shelter, soak up tons of attention, and make new friends. And the best part? One of our dogs was adopted this week after meeting his new family at the picnic! 🥹🐶❤️

We also want to give a very special thank you to the amazing local businesses that supported our event by donating items for raffle baskets, food and desserts, discount coupons, and gift cards. Your generosity helped make this event possible!

Good Boy Nemo. Stuck here because he’s a pitty mix. Imagine that.

Nemo is 2️⃣ years old, 65 lbs. of compacted love, and dog friendly. He LOVES to be loved on. The more love the better for this guy. ❤️ He is also a ball of fun. He will not hesitate to whack himself in the head over and over while playing with his rope toys. 🤪 He’s here for a good time…PERIOD.

Nemo walks well on leash and rides well in the car. He loves to adventure and hopes his people find him soon. 🏡

❤️🐾 HAPPY TAILS FRIDAY! 🐾❤️

THIS is the kind of Friday we love! 🎉🏡

We’re celebrating 12 adoptions, but we’re especially excited because several of our longer residents finally got their turn to go HOME! ❤️

⭐️RUDO, ⭐️DR. SEUSS, ⭐️KRINGLE, ⭐️BENNY, Odysseus, Daisy, Hailee, Bentley, Kit Kat, Smokey, Fonzie, and Milo are all starting their next chapters with families of their own. 🐾💛

Some happy endings take a little longer to find, which makes watching these sweet faces head home even more special. We are SO happy for every single one of them! 🎉

👂🏻 Introducing Mr. Boe.
Think they forgot the “Dum” in front of his name with ears like that 🐘 but who am I?! This guy is new to IHD and we don’t suspect he’ll be here long. He is ruffly 4️⃣ years old, 75 lbs. and dog friendly. Boe is pretty chill. Just kind of wanders around, sniffs some stuff, comes over for pets, goes back to sniffing. He’s not bothered by much. Was described as having an Eeyore personality. ☔️ Boe appreciates some head rubs and will stretch out for the b***y scratches.

Any Bassett folks out there?? 🏡

Miss Zelda NEEDS someone to choose her! And soon. This girl is always down for a good time, especially if toys are involved. Tug, chase, killing a stuffie — this girl is IN!

🎀 Miss Zelda is 1️⃣ year old, 50 lbs., and dog selective. She is also absolutely beautiful. Look at that nose! 😍 Zel loves a trip to the park 🌳 complete with a good long walk and some sniffs.

🐦 Bird is the word?? Birdie hopes so! She wants OUT!

If you’re looking for a dog who will roll on her back and ask for belly pets at any given time of the day, Miss Birdie is your girl! She loooooves a good belly scratch. She also loves to zoom. She doesn’t really chase anything, just zooms until she’s zoomed out and then carries on with her sniffing. 👃🏻

Bird is 4️⃣ years old and 60 lbs. She’s dog friendly and loves the humans. May even help herself to your lap for some loveins. She knows to sit for treats and won’t hesitate to thank you with a smooch. 💋

Any bird loves in the market for…a big fuzzy one?

We are so grateful to the amazing volunteer group from RR Donnelley for spending time with our shelter animals! 🐶🐱

They made enrichment toys, gave baths, and walked SO many dogs. Every bit of their time, love, and hard work made a difference for our animals! 🥰

Thank you, RR Donnelley, for giving our pups some extra attention, enrichment, exercise, and TLC. We appreciate you more than you know! ❤️🐾

We were really hoping our mini panda man would boot scoot and boogey out of here fairly quickly BUT, that’s not the case. Raichu continues to wait.

🖤 This man is a LOVER. That is his #1 descriptor. Loves to kiss. Loves to hug. Loves to be pet. Once you’re his people, he’s down bad for ya.

Raichu is 1️⃣ year old and a little under 50 lbs. He is is dog selective, which we assume is why he’s still here. He likes some dogs, doesn’t like some dogs. Totally normal. Rai is an absolute gem of a dog and we hope his family sees this soon! ❤️
