Heat stroke patient way back in the hills. Treated and then hoisted out by Travis County STAR Flight helicopter. About ten miles of ranch roads only accessible with 4WD. Great team performance with our partners from KCEMS and STAR Flight.

📋REPORT FLOOD OR STORM DAMAGE

Kendall County residents and business owners who experienced damage from the recent severe weather or flooding are encouraged to report it through the Texas Division of Emergency Management’s iSTAT damage survey.

The information submitted through iSTAT helps local and state officials see where damage occurred, understand the overall impact to our community and determine what recovery resources may be needed.

To submit a report:

1. Make sure the area is safe before checking your property.
2. Take photos or video of the damage before cleanup begins, when possible.
3. Visit:

4. Select the survey for the current severe weather or flooding event.
5. Enter the requested information and upload photos of the damage.

The survey is available in English and Spanish.

Due to heavy rain in Kerr county the Guadalupe is expected to flood again this morning. Area residents be advised.

Wednesday 7/15/26. If you live in the Waring-Welfare area we recommend you stay home if you are able to. The roads are currently passable but that may change rapidly.

I realize we all have some weather warning fatigue but we have the potential for serious rain over the next 48 hours.

Significant flooding is possible in parts of Texas — especially the Permian Basin and Edwards Plateau. A few rainfall totals of 10-15 inches are possible through Thursday. Matthew Cappucci has an update.
