My brother and I had a good day laughing, crying, remembering our lives as we cleaned out my mom's office. What a life she gave us! The critters had a good time enjoying their day too!

Whenever a new animal joins the Family, there us always a shake up of friends and new friendships formed. We took in Chance from our friend who sadly took herself off the planet. As Chance grieves the loss of his mom, he is playing kissy face with Samara, our eldest mare who is currently in heat. Jasper has decided he'd rather hang out with the Donkey Nation and Mocha and Red are tolerating each other right now. ❤️

Chance, our newest rescue, meets The Herd. HeyokaRed is acting very much like a stallion and hazing Chance away from "his girls" and his emotional support donkey, Jasper. There was lots of chasing and herding today but everyone is settling in.

Chance meets The Herd. He's decided The Littles are under his protection so he's been herding them for days! 🤣

AND here you can see HeyokaRed acting very much like the Stallion protecting "his" girls and emotional support donkey!

Sully Macaroni got his pedicure and Bodie was highly concerned his friend was in distress. He stayed watching out for Sully until he was all done. Special thanks to Tori K. Salinas and her hubby for taking care of our favorite grumpy old man

For friends of Tisha Rowe who are interested in gathering to honor her memory.

First day of clock change and my aim is off!

I'm exhausted but I think we are ready for this storm. Piggies have new blankets and straw. Chickens have heated water and regular water, tons of chicken crumble, herbs and straw. Horses have troughs with de-icers in them, round bales and hay nets filled with coastal and blankies on. Same for donks except for Jojo and Red who decided they would go au natural. Goats and sheep have filled troughs and tons of hay. Feral cats have tons of food and water. Faucets dripping, mini split on in cabin, fireplace ready to go tomorrow. Whew! Time for a hot shower!!
