A big THANK YOU to members, shooters, and sponsors at our chapter Clay Shoot yesterday. It was a brisk but fun day with no rain. We had a great day of shooting and networking. AFA President Ken Throckmorton of Forever Fence & Rail joined us to review the OTR training taking place in Cleveland in early May along with other data points about the association and future Fencetech shows. A special thank you goes out to Chapter Treasurer, and project chair, Tim McGrath of Metro Fence for all his hard work in organizing the event, food and coordination with club staff. Thank you also to Brian Harmon of Harmon Fence for your help with the beverages. All WPA/WV chapter members can apply for AFA education scholarships out of the allocated $8,000 in available chapter funds to support interested members. This means if you work for a WPA/WV chapter member company, and want to attend OTR or Fence University training, we will cover tuition for up to 2 employees per company or until the funds are exhausted. Apply online and contact chapter leadership for reimbursement, it’s that simple. Get value out of your membership in education, certifications and networking.
